A devastating accident took the life of one family member, left another in a coma, and sent me on a voyage that changed my life forever. It wasn't until that fateful day I truly believed the afterlife existed and how my life would be judged. Before the accident, everything I knew about the afterlife would have fit on the tip of a toothpick. I was never sure about whether it even existed. Now that I've had the experience, I have a different outlook altogether. We all make choices while we live out our life, and it is those choices that will decide our eternity. Some of the afterlife's mysteries are simple to understand, others not so much. It is regrettable that the only way to know for sure there is life after death is to experience it. Some, like myself, are lucky as we get to talk about it. I'm not sure if I read this book before my personal experience, I would believe a word of it. But I wrote it for those who want to know what will happen to them once their life on earth ends and what to expect once they reach the other side.

Overwhelming Demonstrative Evidence Synopsis 08/06/2021 This document is a full disclosure of experiencing Overwhelming Demonstrative Evidence. This ODE demands a total reinterpretation of consciousness itself and our place in the universe. This first-person disclosure is caveated by deep concerns and reservations regarding the primary objective—to Do No Harm. Meditative instructions along with interpretative guidance are therefore provided to facilitate the reader’s ability to fully self-validate this disclosure and as a result, to subsequently access a more profound meaning and purpose to one’s life. This simple process of validation begins with the establishment of a clean slate, Tabula Rasa, as originally formulated and described in John Locke’s essay Concerning Human Understanding in 1690 (and dating back further to Aristotle). Subsequent Gestalt Shifts, arising directly from the meditation process and which encompassing the global elements of form, meaning, and value as previously outlined in 1912 by Maxheimer, Wolfgang Köhler, and Kurt Koffka, are sequentially triggered to ever-higher states of being and related conscious awareness. This resultant new global awareness yields staggering revelations, unveiled at each successive stage in the Gestalt Shifting process, as it builds upon the previous level of understanding. These revelations include answers to (1) The philosophical questions of Why is there both Something and Nothing—being the zero-sum reality of the Yin-Yang of the universe or multiverse itself, (2) Why consciousness is All That Is, and (3) We all are one, differentiated only by the unique programming of our seemingly separate life experiences.

This Festschrift is dedicated to Jan Willem Klop on the occasion of his 60th birthday. The volume comprises a total of 23 scientific papers by close friends and colleagues, written specifically for this book. The papers are different in nature: some report on new research, others have the character of a survey, and again others are mainly expository. Every contribution has been thoroughly refereed at least twice. In many cases the first round of referee reports led to significant revision of the original paper, which was again reviewed. The articles especially focus upon the lambda calculus, term rewriting and process algebra, the fields to which Jan Willem Klop has made fundamental contributions.

Eli Maor examines the role of infinity in mathematics and geometry and its cultural impact on the arts and sciences. He evokes the profound intellectual impact the infinite has exercised on the human mind, from the "horror infiniti" of the Greeks to the works of M.C. Escher; from the ornamental designs of the Moslems, to the sage Giordano Bruno, whose belief in an infinite universe led to his death at the hands of the Inquisition. But above all, the book describes the mathematician's fascination with infinity, a fascination mingled with puzzlement. "Maor explores the idea of infinity in mathematics and in art and argues that this is the point of contact between the two, best exemplified by the work of the Dutch artist M.C. Escher, six of whose works are shown here in beautiful color plates."--Los Angeles Times "[Eli Maor's] enthusiasm for the topic carries the reader through a rich panorama." Choice "Fascinating and enjoyable.... places the ideas of infinity in a cultural context and shows how they have been espoused and molded by mathematics."-Science.

'Science has never had an advocate quite like David Deutsch ... A computational physicist on a par with his touchstones Alan Turing and Richard Feynman, and a philosopher in the line of his greatest hero, Karl Popper. His arguments are so clear that to read him is to experience the thrill of the highest level of discourse available on this planet and to understand it' Peter Forbes, Independent In our search for truth, how far have we advanced? This uniquely human quest for good explanations has driven amazing improvements in everything from scientific understanding and technology to politics, moral values and human welfare. But will progress end, either in catastrophe or completion - or will it continue infinitely? In this profound and seminal book, David Deutsch explores the furthest reaches of our current understanding, taking in the Infinity Hotel, supernovae and the nature of optimism, to instill in all of us a wonder at what we have achieved - and the fact that this is only the beginning of humanity's infinite possibility. 'This is Deutsch at his most ambitious, seeking to understand the implications of our scientific explanations of the world ... I enthusiastically recommend this rich, wide-ranging and elegantly written exposition of the unique insights of one of our most original intellectuals' Michael Berry, Times Higher Education Supplement 'Bold ... profound ... provocative and persuasive' Economist 'David Deutsch may well go down in history as one of the great scientists of our age' Scotsman

This book describes methods for distributing power in high speed, high complexity integrated circuits with power levels exceeding many tens of watts and power supplies below a volt. It provides a broad and cohesive treatment of power delivery and management systems and related design problems, including both circuit network models and design techniques for on-chip decoupling capacitors, providing insight and intuition into the behavior and design of on-chip power distribution systems. Organized into subareas to provide a more intuitive flow to the reader, this fourth edition adds more than a hundred pages of new content, including inductance models for interdigitated structures, design strategies for multi-layer power grids, advanced methods for efficient power grid design and analysis, and methodologies for simultaneously placing on-chip multiple power supplies and decoupling capacitors. The emphasis of this additional material is on managing the complexity of on-chip power distribution networks.

Gain concepts central to smartwatch design, editing and animation correction using the popular open source Galaxy Watch Designer software package. This visual guide builds upon the essential concepts of smartwatch design, decoration, digital imaging, animation, function integration, and visual effects, and gets more advanced as chapters progress, covering which digital new media file formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF, etc.) are best for use with smartwatch design. Smart Watch Design Fundamentals also covers key factors in the data footprint optimization work process, designing and optimizing animation assets, and why these optimizations are important. Additionally, the book covers other advanced topics such as how to provide free smartwatch faces for the first few days on the smartwatch store, and how to post watchface designs for sale in the store. What You'll Learn:Create a smartwatch design and visual effects pipeline Gain knowledge of the concepts behind smartwatch design Work with resolution, aspect ratio, animation, and color depth Use smartwatch design components such as ticks, numerals, feature markers, dates, etc. Optimizing digital image asset data footprint to create small smartwatch design file sizes Who This Book Is For:This book is primarily for smart watch and fashion designers.
