To help the dentist implement the principles of a cause-based treatment, all the treatment procedures are illustrated and explained in detail using actual clinical cases. These principles are applicable to resolving the frequently seen as well as the more challenging symptoms of occlusal dysfunction and TMD. The greatest benefit of this cause-based treatment approach is that there are only three treatment options to resolve symptoms and achieve functional occlusal stability.
