When we come to the second epistle to the Corinthians, the apostle unfolds for us the ministry of the churches of God. I say "churches" because we are thinking of individual congregations. The two terms are used in Scripture. Paul says, "I persecuted the Church of God, and wasted it" (Gal. 1:13).
