His enduring fame came from leading the prosecution of the Watergate case, United States v Nixon, and heading the large Texas based law firm Fulbright and Jaworski. Jaworski wrote a number of autobiographical books, in this, his first volume of memoirs, he reflects on his wartime career during which he served in the United States Army judge advocate general’s department . He was made chief of the trial section of the war crimes branch in the late stages of the war in Europe. In this office he directed investigations of several hundred cases concerning German crimes against persons living and fighting in the American zone of occupation. He also personally tried two cases—the first having to do with the murder of American aviators shot down over Germany in 1944 and the second involving the doctors and staff of a German sanatorium where Polish and Russian prisoners were put to death. Jaworski had risen to the rank of colonel by the time he returned to civilian life in October 1945.

But Sam has managed to survive her marriage only by suppressing the dark secret that she was forced into a marriage she never wanted and obliged to sacrifice the love of her life. On a visit to her hometown she meets for the first time in fifteen years the man who should have been hers, Kelly Ty. The onetime schoolboy nerd has turned into a handsome, bronzed surfer of international acclaim. Sam realizes that the pain of losing her, which drove him to success, was ironically the best thing that ever happened to him...but the indefinable sense of emptiness within her continues to grow. Lisa Reed takes us back to Sam's school days, interspersing past and present, as the story unfolds. The tension between Sam and Jason mounts, and she lights the fuse... LISA REED Lisa Reed is by vocation a sensational writer, by profession a teacher of children with special educational needs and, through her marriage to Dizzy Reed of Guns n' Roses, she is right at the centre of Californian rock. Fifteen Years is Lisa's third novel. Her debut novel, Sabra's Soul, took us to the heart of the Californian rock music scene in a story of love, lust and betrayal. In her second novel, Ember's Flame, the heroine is drawn into a love triangle with the man she is to marry and the man she knows she can never have. A true Californian, where she still resides, Lisa is the mother of two beautiful daughters.

THE SEARCH...THE CAPTURE...AND THE TRIAL OF HISTORY’S BLOODIEST MURDERER, ADOLF EICHMANN — BY THE MAN WHO TRACKED HIM DOWN Tuviah Friedman-The Hunter of Adolf Eichmann Here is the extraordinary story of the famous hunter who spent fifteen years searching for Adolf Eichmann, one of the most ruthless criminals the world has known. When the first Soviet troops entered Poland, young Tuviah Friedman, who had lost most of his family and seen many of his friends beaten to death, knew his chance to revenge himself on the Nazis was at hand. After his escape from a concentration camp, Friedman joined Polish security force charged with rounding up former commandants of slave labor and ghettos, and became a precocious and highly successful Nazi hunter. Had he not encountered anti-Semitic prejudices among the Poles, he might have remained in Poland and entered the new government that was then being formed. Instead, he proceeded to Vienna where he began his fifteen years search for Eichmann—a search whose final chapter began to unfold in October, 1959. The rest is history. Tuviah Friedman’s story is the authentic account of the search for Adolf Eichmann. Friedman has documents, never known to exist, and has witnessed and participated in the crucial events of this story. “An enthralling detective story and a self-portrayal of one man’s terrifying obsession.”—Life Magazine “Eccentric? Fanatic? Dedicated Man? He is all three but his book is a fascinating one...”—The New York Times

It is hard to remember all the experiences I faced during the war years. After fifty-some years, I have now sat back and taken the time to recall my lost memories of the Korean War. It all started in counseling with my VA counterparts. When retelling my experiences to these men who had lived through the same types of tribulations as I had, who now were suffering from shell shock and post-traumatic stress disorder, I found it surprising when they related to me that I was an inspiration. They were impressed I had been promoted to sergeant while still a boy of fifteen. I guess I hadnt realized the magnitude of my accomplishments until a group of my peers, my equals, pointed out to me how amazing my life really was. So now Id like to share my memories of the war through the eyes of a child. In compiling this story I was brought back to my early years when life was both hard and joyful. So if you have the time, I have the story of a fifteen-year-old soldier boy to spin for you.
