Photographers train themselves to see potential pictures all around them, and you can use this same principle to learn to look at miracles in a new light. How would your life be different if you developed an eye for miracles that allowed you to more easily spot Gods supernatural fingerprint on our world? Dr. Paul Risser shares stories from his thirty-seven years of experience in ministry and international travel that describe the miracles he witnessed. His accounts will encourage you not to take miracles in your life for granted, however small, and to be surprised by answers to prayer. A testimony has a powerful effect on someone in need of a miracle. An Eye for Miracle will inspire you to start looking for the movements of God.

My walk with God has been marked with real life-changing encounters initiated by God. Little by little God transformed my heart, and I was renewed by what I call “inside miracles.” In the twinkling of an eye, God worked miracles in my heart that set me free from bondage and sin. These were significant deliverances and turning points in my spiritual growth as God quite simply and profoundly stepped into areas of my life that he needed to deal with. In my ignorance, God met with me and renewed my life. This is the story of an ignorant person who God deemed relevant to touch and set free in specific life areas in his way and in his time, from miraculous salvation experiences to dealing with me step-by-step over an approximate thirty-year period and finally setting me free from the deep dark dog of depression. It is a book to encourage hanging in there with your Christian walk and to highlight that, by the grace of God and in his time, there can be deliverance, freedom, and renewal.

The willingness of people to believe in magical icons, mystical relics, and miraculous pictures (like the Image of Guadalupe) is almost as curious as these phenomena themselves. Though they cry out for scientific investigation, millions of people blindly accept them as fact.Historical and paranormal investigator Joe Nickell confronts such strange events, powers, and objects as the Shroud of Turin, bleeding or weeping statues, burning handprints, liquefying blood, ecstatic visions, miraculous cures, and people speaking in tongues in Looking for a Miracle. Departing from standard critiques of religion, Nickell carefully investigates the evidence relating to specific claims.Religious believers and rationalists alike have much to learn from this revealing examination of the evidence for the miraculous.Joe Nickell, Senior Research Fellow for the Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal (CSICOP), is a former stage magician and private detective. Along the way, David the loner, living amid the beauty, freedom, and pleasures of Paris, brings Roni Beth, a responsible and overextended professional haunted by earlier loss and trauma, back to her core as a woman, while she helps him reclaim connections that tie him to a larger world. They wrestle internal demons (mostly hers) and external threats (friends, family and different perspectives) as they share adventures in their respective worlds. Throughout their journey, stories of courage, joy and integrity bring hope and delight to those who wonder how romantic love appears and evolves; inspiration to people in mid-life who, knowingly or unknowingly, have completed a chapter in their lives and are ready to move on; and comfort to anyone who longs to wrestle and conquer the demons of fear, born of history or of the unknown, and win. Testimony that love is real.

At age thirty-seven, Julie was diagnosed with terminal metastatic colon cancer. This book grew out of a blog Julie kept through the past four years of her life.
