This by far was the most emotional trip I have ever undertaken.

The largest growing city in the country has what ever you want, no matter your taste, perversion, sickness or addiction. You can get it here, 24 hrs. a day, 7 days a week. All you need is money and juice. John Horne has lived here in this Sodom and Gomorrah, this cesspit of a city for the past 24 years. It never changes, ti only gets worse. He is trying to put his life back together. The past two or three years haven't been the best of times to say the least. Just two years before, his oldest daughter's boyfriend Roger is implicated in murder with two other young men. The ringleader was a Tyrone Crawford. That in itself was enough to rattle the very sanity and relationship with his daughter Tracy. Tyron's father, Charles is a major player in this town. He makes money and then cleans it for people; very huge sums of money for very influential people. He also fixes things. So, of course he fixed things for good ole Tye. that's where the trouble begins for John. After Tyrone turns state's evidence, cops a plea and walks, leaving the other two facing a death sentence, John's daughter becomes the target for a very vicious, deadly game to eliminate the last of the loose ends. Just barely getting over the divorce from his second wife, John finds himself going to Northern Nevada through Reno and racing through the streets of Las Vegas. Desperately trying to save his daughter, the only one who can finally put the finger on Tyrone and save his 5 yr. old grandson who has suddenly disappeared; the only person he can trust is his long time buddy Joshua. Along with the help of Joshua and the very dangerous yet dedicated underground associates of his, they plot to put an end to Tyrone's rampage and get him the punishment6 he deserves and is so long overdue."

Practical Symbolic Interactions in the Shrine of the South: Conversations with a Damn Yankee finds that Lexington-Rockbridge, VA, community sentiments toward Southern symbols such as the Confederate Battle Flag and Robert E. Lee are not necessarily reducible to a racial divide. John F. Cataldi uses data to demonstrate that most black and white respondents navigate a social balance between the extremes of conservation and progress as a way to productively coexist and unify as a community rather than maintain an insular posture or cause division based solely on symbolic ideology. These findings challenge conventional sociological and media-provided paradigms and broaden the discussion of what tolerance and situational context mean for a large spectrum of community members who live in the milieu of Confederate symbols every day.
