Bara Cohen grew up in a non-practicing Jewish home, was a child prodigy with an unusual love of plants, but now, at the age of twenty-one, is the youngest professor of physics at Yale University in America, and a bordering atheist. And yet, Bara wanted to believe that there is more to life than mere scientific facts. Facts, he knew, which often must be adjusted as new discoveries are made. At the age of fourteen Bara had an unexpected vision which made him fear for his sanity, but rather resulted in a change of studies, from botany to physics. A call from Michael, an older friend who used to study botany with him, led to them going to Israel, where, in a most unusual manner, Bara came across a treasure buried in the side of a riverbank. It was an ancient ring with an inscription in an archaic form of the already archaic Paleo-Hebrew on the inside. This ring with its unusual inscription would put Bara on an exhilarating journey discovering the amazing hidden mystery of the Story of Creation in Bereisheet of the Jewish Torah, or Genesis 1 in the Christian Holy Bible. Thanks to the ring Bara found, he, together with Doctor Abdiel Ben-Ezra, a Messianic-Jew, and head of Archaeology at Jerusalem Museum, and later joined by Shesh Yamim, a student of Doctor Ben-Ezra, found a completely new way of looking at the Story of Creation, which left them breathtakingly stunned right from the start. Bara’s name means “he (meaning the masculine God) created, or creating,” and Bara ended up where you never thought he’d be…! Metanoia was born in 1959 in a hospital in Lichtenburg, South Africa, even though her parents stayed in a small town, Sannieshof, not far from Lichtenburg. In 1994 she pleaded with God in tears to please teach her the Truth after serious errors in the Bible came to her attention and unbelievable as it may sound, God did teach her the Truth over a period of many years. Only at the end of 2022 did He open the door for this Truth to be made public. She has three children and now stays with her fourth husband in Zeerust, South Africa.

There are numerous books written about Jewish mysticism, kabbalah, and the Zohar (Book of Radiance). The Zohar is written in code through the use of symbolism, euphemisms, figures of speech, ancient phraseology, and the Hebrew Bible or Tenakh. Tenakh is an acronym formed from the initial Hebrew letters of Masoretic Text’s three traditional subdivisions (Torah - the Five Books of Moses, Nevi’im - Prophets, and Ketuvim - writings). Thanks to the incredible scholarship of Professor Daniel Matt from Berkeley California the codes of the Zohar have become more comprehensible to the inquisitive reader. It was because of Professor Matt’s translation, explanations, and notes on the Zohar in his first seven volumes that I was moved to write this book. ”The Zohar is firmly rooted in tradition but thrives on discovery.”

THE BOOK OF GENESIS is the key to the Bible. In the New Testament it is quoted twenty-seven times literally and thirty-eight times substantially. It tells in a very few words how God first imaged man and the universe and then turned the development over to Jehovah, who has been in a process of manifestation for ages and aeons. The "Five Books of Moses," of which Genesis is the first, have always been credited to Moses, but that he was the author seems doubtful in the face of the many stories of creation found in the legends and hieroglyphs of ancient Egypt, Chaldea, and other nations that are almost identical with those of Genesis. It would thus seem that Moses edited the legends of the ages and compiled them into an allegorical history of creation. The truths in this book will be revealed to the reader through his own spiritual unfoldment. Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. The spiritual revelations that you seem to get from books and teachers already existed as submerged experiences in your own soul. The essential truths have been worked out in this or previous incarnations, and when you were reminded of the buried idea it blazed forth as a light from without. So all that you are or ever will be must come from your own spiritual achievements.

This book deals with the "Book of Splendor" (Sefer ha-Zohar), the greatest achievement of Kabbalah and one of the most influential sources of Western mysticism. This book offers a new interpretation of the Zohar, analyzing both its theoretical content and its historical context; it also brings the theory and the history together by indicating the personal and autobiographical elements in the Zohar's teachings. The author delves into the issues of the messianic elements of the Zohar, the way it was written, and its relationship to Christianity, Gnosticism, and Talmudic literature.

Storm clouds are on the horizon and are hovering over the Judeo-Christian community. Returning to God’s Word is our only hope for these troubled times. On the cusp of these changing times, a remnant is being identified and “called out” by the Holy Spirit to return to the foundational roots of Christianity. The First Century Church of Jesus’ Apostles was vastly different from the church of today. Their foundational strength was built upon the Rock of Jesus Christ and was founded upon the Biblical (Hebrew/Jewish) customs of Jesus Christ and His disciples. This book is a basic handbook—a “101 Primer”—for reconciliation and restoration. Its exposure to the rich Hebraic customs and traditions of Jesus’ day will bring a refreshing breath to traditional Christianity. It’s a call to return to “the faith once delivered to the saints,” to prepare for eternity in God’s city, the New Jerusalem.

Arguably the oldest book in the Bible, the book of Job has a surprising amount to say about some of the newest scientific discoveries and controversies. Far from a book that is just about suffering, Job is filled with rich insight into both ancient and modern questions about the formation of the world the difference between animals and humans cosmology dinosaurs and the fossil record how to care for creation and more With careful consideration and exegesis, internationally known astrophysicist and Christian apologist Hugh Ross adds yet another compelling argument to the case for the veracity of the biblical commentary on the history of the universe, Earth, life, and humanity. Hidden Treasures in the Book of Job shows that the Bible is an accurate predictor of scientific discoveries and a trustworthy source of scientific information, and that both the book of Scripture and the book of nature are consistent both internally and externally.

"[Here is] the Genesis for our generation and beyond."—Robert Fagles Genesis begins with the making of heaven and earth and all life, and ends with the image of a mummy—Joseph's—in a coffin. In between come many of the primal stories in Western culture: Adam and Eve's expulsion from the garden of Eden, Cain's murder of Abel, Noah and the Flood, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham's binding of Isaac, the covenant of God and Abraham, Isaac's blessing of Jacob in place of Esau, the saga of Joseph and his brothers. In Robert Alter's brilliant translation, these stories cohere in a powerful narrative of the tortuous relations between fathers and sons, husbands and wives, eldest and younger brothers, God and his chosen people, the people of Israel and their neighbors. Alter's translation honors the meanings and literary strategies of the ancient Hebrew and conveys them in fluent English prose. It recovers a Genesis with the continuity of theme and motif of a wholly conceived and fully realized book. His insightful, fully informed commentary illuminates the book in all its dimensions.
