Barbie: Dreamtopia - Sparkle Mountain Summary of the Story: The story takes place in the magical country of Dreamtopia, which is full of wonders and beautiful things. Sparkle Mountain is right in the middle of the country. It is where the most valuable jewels in the whole land are kept. The main character of the book, Barbie, finds out that a magical rainbow on top of the mountain is said to be able to grant wishes. She chooses to go on a quest to get to the top of the mountain and see the rainbow for herself. As Barbie climbs the mountain, she faces several dangerous situations and meets several strange animals, like fairies and a magical butterfly. As she and the butterfly fly together, the fairies will guide her and help her while the butterfly carries her on its back. When Barbie finally gets to the top of the mountain, she sees a beautiful rainbow that has all the colors of the rainbow shining through it. She then makes her wish while standing on the crystal stage in the middle of Dreamtopia and feeling the power of the place flow through her. A rainbow's worth of stars fall from the sky and turn into books, pencils, and other school supplies. At the same time, the rainbow is brighter than it has ever been. Now that Barbie's wish has come true, children all over the world will have the chance to learn and grow. Barbie makes her way back down the mountain.
