They travel along the scenic Missouri River then down to the future home of Yellowstone National Park. They pass through the wonders of Yellowstone and fly east, arriving back in Montana. Among the sights they see are thousands of buffalo and millions of now-extinct passenger pigeons. During their travels, they encounter the Corp of Discovery and Meriwether Lewis. Also, they find there is a rival time machine, with a villainous crew, from 1945 Germany. They are confident they will see these guys again.
