We all need to focus on Jesus and look away from ourselves and our circumstances. Christians best glorify the Lord when we find all of our joy and satisfaction in Him, when we look upward as opposed to inward and outward. By heeding the admonishment of the writer of Hebrews to "fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith" (Hebrews 12:2) we are compelled to love Him more. By focusing our gaze upon Him we are empowered to live through Him. In doing both we demonstrate a faith that images forth the truth and beauty of Jesus and brings Him the glory He is so worthy of. Linden is the single father of one son, Samuel (who is a student at Lee University in Cleveland, TN) and resides in Nashville, TN. Having formerly pastored several churches he now is the founder of Captivated by Christ Ministries (www.captivatedbychrist.org). This ministry's focus is exalting Jesus through both the written and spoken word. Linden received his PhD from Newburgh Theological Seminary, his MA from Liberty University and his BA from Carson-Newman College.
