Excerpt from Annual Report of the Syracuse Central Library: For the Years Ending June 30, 1894 and June 30, 1895 The reading room and reference library are Open daily except on legal holidays, from 9 A. M. Until 9 P. M. On Sundays from October rst to April 3oth they are open from 2 until 6 P. M. During July and August they are open on week days from 9 to 12 A. M., from 2 to 5 P. M., and from 7 to 9 P. M. Books in the reading room and reference library are free to all persons for use in the rooms. The circulating library is open free to every person over ten years of age living in the city and recommended by a reputable citizen. Persons living outside the city have free use of the reading room and reference library. Such persons may draw books from the circulating library upon payment of two dollars yearly.
