The purpose of this book is to present a comprehensive review of deception, its essential component of neurolinguistic dialectics, and how it is used by Satan to corrupt the human mind from devotion to Jesus Christ. These theological subjects are explored in an interdisciplinary fashion in an attempt to reveal historical knowledge of religious and secular developments of the ages needed to understand spiritual failure, deception, sin, apostasy, the role of the human mind as the venue or battlefield of deception, and how faith in God becomes weak and susceptible to doubt. Always at issue here is "why humanity replicates behavior that regresses to the same results of apostasy and utter spiritual failure induced by deception?" This interdisciplinary approach eludes the prototypical, one-dimensional approach to understanding deception and sin and presents the reader with a "how to" methodology that will hopefully defeat deception and sin. It also shows how deception results from heretical doctrine advanced by false prophets and preachers. Moreover, this book will help readers hone their skills necessary to examine issues of contemporary life with critical thinking in the context of religious and human history that facilitates their becoming better human beings.

Modern misguided evangelical empire-building at the institutional church level has systematically for the most part, attempted to replace Christianity with its own brand of organized religion. This subtle deception has taken more than 1,700 years to develop and permeate society and typical Christian thought, but develop well it has. So well, in fact, that even some of the greatest ministry personalities of our time have made the mistake of thinking that Christianity and organized religion are one and the same.but they are not. What's wrong with organized religion you say? Did you suppose that's what Christianity was all about? Did you suppose that its church building origins are biblical? And what's the fuss anyway? Does it really matter if the Lord's people are more 'organizationally" or 'institutionally" minded than they are 'relationally" minded? The author's opinion is that Purpose dictates the correct usage of what God designs. If we want to correctly use something God has designed, we must first discover God's original intent and purpose behind the creation of His idea. This work deals with the financial 'skeletons in the Church's closet" and goes behind the scenes for God's design for the Body of Christ known as the 'Church."

'Deception in the Church' brings a timely warning to both Christians and non-Christians to be alert to the strategies satan uses to keep us from the truth. The book traces the historical development of Christianity, the battles for the faith against the legalism and tradition of the Jews to the influences of Greek philosophy and Gnosticism. It reveals the heresy and corruption of the faith by Roman Catholicism and the undermining influences of science and humanism to post-modernism and New Age thinking.

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. John 10:10a NKJV Satan is the god of this world (see 2 Corinthians 4:4 and 1 John 5:19), is the “father of lies” (see John 8:44), and his job description is to “steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” In order to achieve his aims, he most often lies to us and deceives us. Satan often disguises his forces to make them look like natural problems so you’ll fight them with natural weapons. But you cannot fight a spiritual foe with natural weapons but with spiritual weapons, i.e. speaking God’s word to the devil and his demons. Unfortunately satan can disguise himself as an “angel of light,” so it is possible to be deceived by an innocent and apparently correct Christian teaching (see Matthew 24:4, 24:5; Mark 13:5, 13:6; and Luke 21:8). Often these inaccurate or incomplete teachings focus on God’s love and blessings (thus appealing to our flesh and so lead us astray (see Mark 13:22 and 1 Timothy 4:1) and do not mention His greatness, or our need to obey Him and have a reverential fear of Him. This book aims to help reveal satan’s lie and deception strategies and so empower Christians to live the Christian life that God intended. “Great book, interesting and well written based on solid evidence, documented, and not on flights of fancy or fanciful digressions or comforting in a fantastic book where you can find and discover the birth of the religion best known to the world. Through the dialogue structure, the reading is easier even if the terminology is researched and complex. At first glance it may seem pedantic, but you will be fascinated by the events described that so well dot the book.” -- Kalyan Panja , Booktica - Book Reviews
