"Out of the Darkness Comes the Light", is a novel written by Andre Gilchrist. This novel follows the authors first book "You Thought You Couldn't Change, Either", which was a true and actual account of the life of Andre Gilchrist. This is a novel based on the fact that much of the book comes from actual facts while other parts are derived from the authors life experiences and events the author has lived through. The background information in this novel is actual. The author took an enormous amount of time researching the information from family members still alive, documents that have been saved and passed on from one generation to another to have the story as true and credible as possible. The main action takes place in a fictitious town called Hopesville, Michigan. The author through much of his life experiences during the course of the novel covers the time periods covering much of the civil rights area extending from Brown vs Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas in May, 1954 to and including other events lasting to the race riots in Newark, New Jersey and Detroit, Michigan in July of 1967. The novel touches on major events occurring in the present day such as hijacking and terrorism. The main theme that the author is trying to touch on in this novel is that there is always hope, hence comes the name of the town Hopesville. The author believes that when we cease to believe in hope we close the door to the future. The author wants to impress to those reading this manuscript that no matter how dark and gloomy and totally helpless and hopeless the times might seem to us and we feel that there is no reason to continue that Out of the Darkness Comes The Light!

A street fighter and his childhood crush. A forced marriage. Both are hellbent on leaving the streets of Chicago, except the gang alliance won’t let them. They’re on the run. Born to leaders of rival gangs, Teagan and Joey’s upbringing is rough. They fight against their own prisons, but ultimately, their fathers get what they want. Despite their forced marriage to create an alliance, Teagan and Joey grow to love each other. They refuse to let the underworld suck them six feet under. Then one leader dies, and the other disappears. And someone has put a black market hit on Joey’s life. Teagan refuses to leave Joey, so together, they’re on the run, fighting against every gang, criminal, and crooked cop across the country. Will they escape death and find a happy ending, or will their ashes be buried in the seedy underworld streets? Author's Note: CHASING STORM is book two of the STORM DUET. It’s a dark love story between Teagan and Joey. A romantic suspense, enemies-to-lovers, forced marriage, following one couple through disturbing incidences, getting acquainted, lots of steamy moments, and a blood-curdling race to escape. The first book ends with a major CLIFFHANGER, so you must read the books in order. These books contain adult content and triggers. Reader discretion is advised. Writer, producer, and director Wes Craven has successfully tapped into the horror vein for over forty years, serving up scary, funny, cutting-edge thrillers that have become classics in the genre. His films have been both critical and commercial successes, most notably Nightmare on Elm Street, which spawned a series of sequels and made Craven (and his creation, Freddy Kruger) an international sensation. He then created a second indelible series in the horror movie trope with Scream. In Screams & Nightmares, Brian J. Robb examines Craven's entire career, from his low-budget beginnings to his most recent box office hits, from the banned thriller The Last House on the Left and the cult classic The Hills Have Eyes to the outrageous Shocker and The People Under the Stairs. Through exclusive interviews with Craven, Robb provides in-depth accounts of the making of each of the films – including the final instalments of the Scream series – Craven's foray into writing novels, and his numerous television projects.

Considered one of the greatest baseball players of all time, Ty Cobb cast a shadow over the game with his violent behavior on the field and off. His shadow was never darker than when it fell on his teammates. Sam Crawford, Harry Heilmann and Heinie Manush were three of the greatest players in baseball history, good enough to be in the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Each played in the Detroit outfield alongside Cobb, though their fame never reached the level of his. Little is remembered about this trio of Hall of Famers. Crawford, the all-time triples leader, Heilmann, the last right-handed batter to hit .400, and Manush, another batting champion, each made his own mark on the game, detailed for the first time in this triple biography.
