A Prescription for Deliverance through Discipleship is an explanation of the step by step process the believer must take in order to become a true disciple of Christ. It is a series of studies designed to be a teaching tool for individual and group training sessions. Believers will learn to establish and maintain an intimate relationship with Christ, while overcoming the works of their flesh and sharing their faith with others. They will be able to see their real enemy and learn how to defeat him in spiritual combat. They will also learn all aspects of living a life of victory, the way God intended. Salvation is presented in three dimensions:The first dimension is Initial Salvation. In this dimension, readers are encouraged to say the sinners prayer and accept Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. This process alone is the door that leads believers to the the second dimension of salvation, the Progressive Stage of Salvation. In the progressive stage; spiritual growth, maturity/perfection and fruit production take place. In order to become a true disciple of Jesus, all believers must go through this stage of growth and development. True disciples must learn to spend time with the Lord in order to feed the spirit of God inside them, if they desire to be transformed into the image of Christ. We all come to Christ with our personal sin and iniquities. We must learn about him and His power to purge and purify us from our sin. We must also understand the weapons of warfare; the armor, artillery and ammunition God has provided for believers to use as we engage in spiritual warfare, fighting to free ourselves and others from the clutches of Satan. We must study and become skillful in the use of these weapons, if we are to gain eternal salvation; the final stage of life. There is life after death. If believers are to obtain this life, we must seek to be "Delivered through Discipleship." Eternal Salvation is the third dimension of salvation and the promised reward to those who obey God and present their bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable unto God. Eternal Salvation is obtained as the result of going through each stage of salvation and obtaining success and victory in each stage. Our daily decisions will lead us to eternal salvation or eternal damnation. It's our choice. The side affects of this prescription for deliverance is the cultivation of an insatiable hunger for God, the motivation to read and do His Word and of course, eternal salvation. It's time for believers to get out of the wilderness of sin; stop walking around the same mountains of idolatry, self gratification and disobedience. The promised land of freedom from laziness, ignorance, satanic attacks and failure is available. Many are dying and going to hell. Have you done your part to win the lost at any cost? When was the last time you snatched a soul from the clutches of Satan. Are your growing spiritually and producing the fruit of the spirit or are you in a back-slidden, stagnant or religious state?
