In this book, Bob Solis movingly recalls some of the most poignant stories from an incredible journey which has given 55 children a home to call their own. Bobs strong Christian faith and commitment to service gives him deep insight into the wonderful journey that led to the founding and growth of Open Arms Home for Children. A deeply panoramic tour of the night, from its brightest spots to the darkest skies we have left. A starry night is one of nature's most magical wonders. Yet in our artificially lit world, three-quarters of Americans' eyes never switch to night vision and most of us no longer experience true darkness. In The End of Night, Paul Bogard restores our awareness of the spectacularly primal, wildly dark night sky and how it has influenced the human experience across everything from science to art. From Las Vegas' Luxor Beam -- the brightest single spot on this planet -- to nights so starlit the sky looks like snow, Bogard blends personal narrative, natural history, science, and history to shed light on the importance of darkness -- what we've lost, what we still have, and what we might regain -- and the simple ways we can reduce the brightness of our nights tonight.

If Christians understood that Jesus promised so much more than forgiveness of sin in our lives, the world would be turned upside down. Where are the people of God who grow up to maturity in Christ? Where are those who are prepared to forsake all and make the gamble to follow Him? Where are those who make it their goal to hear the Father say, Well done, good and faithful servant? God has called you to be more than a conqueror in this life and the next. In More than a Conqueror: Five Pathways to Personal Revival, author Ty Tamasaka shares how you can not only conquer the enemy but be more than a conqueror. You will discover how to ignite a vibrant relationship with God and awaken a deeper faith within. No matter where you are in your walk with God, if taken to heart, the information found in More than a Conqueror: Five Pathways to Personal Revival will spark a revival within you. Youll be on your way to the life God wants you to live.

We all need to sit back and relax each day with the word of God. The word tells us as believers to hide the word in our hearts because it is food to our Spirit man, and the word is a light to our path and a lamp to our feet. There are so many situations and issues in life that we can't risk being without the word of God, having it in our hands, reading it; having it in our hearts, pondering it; having it in our mouths, speaking it. When we're going through life's storms, we can reflect on how much the Father loves us, how he wants to heal our broken pieces as we grow into maturity through his word. I believe it is very important to have a devotional time with God each day, you'd be surprised how spending time with the father and listening to him speak to your spirit through his word, how much insight he gives. I am a witness; he did just that for me. I pray these devotions will bless you and your families as you allow these spiritful everyday down-to-earth devotions called "Gospel Time." It will fill your heart with more love for God and others, will make you laugh, as well as help you bear spiritual fruit. I have been a wife of thirty years to Mr. Phillip Gordon. I love bringing God's word to people in a way that they can understand it and apply it to their daily lives. My favorite Scripture verse is Philippians 4:13. God called me into ministry in March 2011. God has blessed me for over fifteen years to be a devotional speaker at healthcare facilities and prisons. I've lead home and community bible studies. I've also delivered the word of God over the air waves of radio. I was inspired by Reverend Jeanette Mackey who encouraged me to share with the world my writings and out of that birth came this book, Gospel Time. I love writing and reading God's word. Teaching and preaching God's word, and spending time with family and friends. My desire in life is to go wherever God sends me to teach, preach and reach the harvest in this world. So, lives can be saved through our Lord Jesus Christ.
