A thrilling, innovative novel about the interplay between nature and humankind by the author of Names on the Land. With Storm, first published in 1941, George R. Stewart invented a new genre of fiction: the eco-novel. California has been plunged into drought throughout the summer and fall when a ship reports an unusual barometric reading from the far western Pacific. In San Francisco, a junior meteorologist in the Weather Bureau takes note of the anomaly and plots “an incipient little whorl” on the weather map, a developing storm, he suspects, that he privately dubs Maria. Stewart’s novel tracks Maria’s progress to and beyond the shores of the United States through the eyes of meteorologists, linemen, snowplow operators, a general, a couple of decamping lovebirds, and an unlucky owl, and the storm, surging and ebbing, will bring long-needed rain, flooded roads, deep snows, accidents, and death. Storm is an epic account of humanity’s relationship to and dependence on the natural world.

A group of White Nationalists in the Pacific Northwest finally takes a stand against the New World Order. This is a fictional account of what white men and women can accomplish when they set out to protect their heritage and way of life. Destined to be billed as the modern Turner Diaries, it should prove to be an inspiring read. The Northwest Freedom Fighters, The Awakening, the first in the Northwest Freedom Fighter series, shows a real life scenario that can be accomplished by a few brave souls with a realistic budget. This story delves into the Tactical side of the struggle. Most similar books, though excellent reading and highly recommended, show the Strategic side of the goal. The iron will to win and the means to accomplish this are all brought to life. This adventure will be unlike any other you will embark on.

Der Kliene Lump contains a series of true anecdotes about the winsome ways of a boy who experienced rare freedoms and "extravagances" in a harsh era defined by The Great Depression and World War II. The boy's family of seven was unique in heritage, faith, lifestyle, character, and appearance. Less than an acre of land, a primitive house, an outhouse, and five dinky buildings, which sheltered a menagerie of animals, defined their habitat. His mother wore a prayer covering and plain dress that belied her fiery temperament. She referred to her son as Der Kleine Lump (The Little Rascal; at times, The Scoundrel). When the author, John Paugstat, viewed the anecdotes as a composite picture, he saw a boy who, when nurtured by faith, family, and society, rose above the Woes of Poverty and enjoyed the Wows of Privilege and Adventure. The author would like to have been that boy, and so he was--resulting in anecdotes true to the limits of his memory. John Paugstat has degrees from the Universities of California and Cincinnati. He wrote articles on various subjects; he taught and spoke at conventions, corporate, and church-related functions. He has five patents, two published books, and three in development.
