The subject and objective for you of this book- Getting the best for your health after health issues. Are you feeling below par, not satisfied with how some or many parts of your health are progressing? Here in this Autobiography is the answer for what worked for me, and how you to can lift your wellbeing to a better level of health by applying these same simple answers for yourself. If you are one of the many people who over time are feeling down and disillusioned by an ongoing mediocre feeling of wellbeing then here is your answer and guide to help you lift yourself to a better level of health and enjoyment of life. There are a host of helpful guiding points though the book both for people who are having issues and looking for answers and who are not regular users of prescription drugs. Plus if you are a regular prescribed medication user then there are more answers with natural ways for you to help build your wellbeing to more desirable levels. Read on! Prescription medications and their subtle side effects have been a part of my life experience since 2001, when I was fitted with an artificial heart valve. Following that surgery, the constant use of prescribed drugs, has for me and can and does over time for many users have a real negative effect on one's general vitality and sense of wellbeing, because of their acid effect, on the body. This low acid effect puts you out of balance from our body's ideal acid/alkaline balance. The medical establishment tells us nothing about how to help cope with this effect or even admit it exists. For the next nine years after 2001, life for me went through this constant rollercoaster of feeling 'OK' at times to awful, from near healthy to Flue, Depression, and Lethargic, never properly healthy. If there was some sort of bug going around, it was sure to affect me! Almost monthly I was at a Doctor, seeking an answer to my unhealthy issues! It has taken TEN YEARS for me to work out the root causes of my below normal health issues, and then apply this learning to dramatically better my health and vitality! ... Through this book you will find a whole host of major and minor pointers to guide you onto a better path of healthy and holistic living. When you combine this knowledge with your required daily intake of prescribed medicine, you will find a real and sustained lift to your wellbeing. The solutions are simple and relatively inexpensive. Action by you is the real way to get results! Here's your opportunity to apply this learning to your life over the next TEN WEEKS and know what it feels like to be and feel really healthier again!

'An incredibly helpful guide' Jonny Benjamin MBE 'Groundbreaking . . . so relatable given the current way we approach our work' Amy Wall, Woman's Way What happens when the effects of work are far more detrimental to your wellbeing than a simple case of Sunday-night blues? Whether you're suffering from work-induced high blood pressure, depression, migraines, or panic attacks, Dr Ellie Cannon has the answer - and it's not quitting your job. We all have a moan about going to work: groaning about getting on the bus in the rush hour, counting down to the weekend. A gripe here and there is understandable and expected, but what happens when your job is making you mentally or physically unwell? When you are in this situation, it can be very difficult to know where to turn, who to speak to or where to find good quality help and advice. In Is Your Job Making You Ill?, Dr Ellie Cannon uses her decade of experience treating patients to create an essential resource for anybody suffering from job-related ill-health. Part one of the book lays out the key causes of job-related illness - from the pressure of an unmanageable workload to the challenges of an emotionally-draining job - and identifies the most common illnesses and symptoms which can occur as a result, including stress, anxiety, insomnia, high blood pressure and IBS. Part two will help you to find a way out. It includes a practical, self-directed programme that can be tailored to your individual circumstances, covering everything from where to find help, when (and if) to seek professional advice or take time off work, to micro-actions like improving your commute and adjusting your diet to support a healthy lifestyle. Work-related ill health can happen to anyone. This book is all about how to survive and thrive when it happens to you. Don't let your job rule your life anymore.

PCOS is the most common cause of anovulatory infertility. More than that, the symptoms of the syndrome can cause significant emotional distress and long-term health consequences. Most women who receive a diagnosis of PCOS have no idea what that means. This book picks up where a diagnosis leaves off. In Thriving with PCOS: From Diagnosis to Wellness, Kelly Morrow-Baez, aka the FitShrink, draws upon her personal experience with PCOS and professional background in mental health and gives readers all the information and tools they need to create a lasting healthy lifestyle change. This book is written from a mindset perspective and provides a comprehensive overview of PCOS and a solid foundation for the reader to design a lifestyle strategy for total wellness. It’s widely known that lifestyle strategies are helpful when it comes to PCOS; however, most women struggle to implement them in a consistent way. This book goes beyond the typical recommendations and empowers each reader to decide what the best approach is for herself. Motivation is enhanced with explanations of how stress, medications, and eating habits are all connected to insulin resistance. In addition to helping the reader understand the impact of insulin resistance, Morrow-Baez delves into the connection between lifestyle choices and emotional wellness and demystifies the link between them so that if you are suffering from anxiety or depression you know precisely what will work for you to start feeling better. Depression, anxiety, stress management are explored. Morrow-Baez explains how you can enhance connections with your health care providers and become a part of the team, rather than a bystander in your medical care. Pre-packaged lifestyle strategies are as unhelpful as processed food. The key is to design and implement a personalized strategy that is as unique as you are.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), named after the cysts that may form in the ovaries, is a hormone disorder that causes irregular menstrual cycles, obesity, and infertility, among other symptoms. If untreated, it can lead to heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol levels and uterine cancer. The cause of PCOS is not fully known. Unfortunately many doctors aren't sufficiently enlightened about PCOS to readily make a diagnosis. Women who have experienced multiple miscarriages often have PCOS; doctors sometimes finally diagnose PCOS in a woman when she undergoes fertility investigations. Symptoms can include: ** multiple miscarriages ** infertility ** absent or irregular periods ** pelvic pain ** joint pain ** weight gain ** excessive facial and/or body hair ** adult acne ** hair loss ** depression POSITIVE OPTIONS FOR POLYCYSTIC OVARY SYNDROME (PCOS) includes information on causes, symptoms, diagnosis, getting help from a doctor, medications, and what a woman can do to help herself, including improved nutrition, complementary therapies, exercise, and lifestyle changes. A chapter on emotional support and case histories separates this concise guide from the competition.
