Honestly, I didn't want to write this book. I hate the question: "Why aren't you married yet?" .... The response in my head is, why are you talking to me... I didn't want to write about singleness because I wanted to be married. If I was going to write about singleness, I wanted it to be in past tense. 'When I was single, I did this and that...' Yet, here I am... Single and writing! lol. What brought me to finally write about singleness was when I reflected on everything I did in the year 2020. I quit my nursing job and dove into full time entrepreneurship. I wrote and published my second book in just two months. I went back to school and got a 4.0 two semesters in a row. And I was able to go on multiple trips even in the middle of a global pandemic! God showed me that my ability to accelerate quickly, enjoy things freely and not wait for the approval of another, was because the only person I had to consult with was Him. A gift is defined as an unmissable opportunity. Whether you're single and content, single and discontent, or it depends on the day. Desire to date or not.
