This provides an indexed guide to the resolutions adopted by the Assembly and the International Maritime Organization (IMO), as well as those adopted by the Consultative Meetings of Contracting Parties to the London Convention, 1972, for which IMO acts as secretariat, from the inception of the Organization in January 1959 to September 2004. REVISED MARPOL ANNEX VI - Regulations for the Prevention of AirPollution from Ships- AND NOx TECHNICAL CODE 2008, 2009 Edition - following three years of extensive work, IMO's Marine Environment Protection Committee adopted in October 2008 the revised regulations for the prevention of air pollution from ships, which enter into force on 1 July 2010. The International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code is the standard guide to all aspects of handling dangerous goods and marine pollutants in sea transport.
