A comparison of the size of that volume with the 1317 pages of the present index, covering the Publications only, will show at a glance how much more exhaustive this volume is. Where names appeared in an erroneous form in the Publications articles, and the correct form has been found, the latter is used. For clarity and con sistency, the names in the old French records have been put into the same forn as those used for English names; married women indexed under their husbands' surnames, Jr. Replacing fils, etc. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
