The Muslim Ummah has been living without the Khilafah for over seven decades, plagued on one hand by the domination of the colonialist Western Nations, and on the other hand, afflicted by the infiltration of ideas alien to Islam - such as secularism, nationalism and individualism - into the minds of the Ummah. In the place of the Systems of Islam, which were implemented under the banner of a unified Khilafah state for more than 1300 years, giving justice and security to all that lived under it, the world is once again dominated by coruption, poverty and disorder. Indeed, these are the natural result of any way of life that is based on the fragile foundations of man-made laws, Islam is a deen (way of life), encompassing comprehensive guidance for all aspects of human existence, from personal worship to economics and government. The rules and laws which emanate from the Islamic 'Aqedah (creed) come from none other than Allah (swt), the Creator of manking and the universe. Thus, they are free from the flaws and limintations that are necessarilty inherent in man-made ideologies. It is only by the implementation of Islam that manking can ever hope to by freed from the abyss in which it is currently submerged. It is the responsibility of every Muslim to understand fully about the details of this unique and private way of life. When we have done so, our minds will see very clearly that the Systems of Islam provide the only practical solutions to the problems of the Ummah, and our hearts will yearn for their implementation in the world again. This book outlines the Systems of Islam - Ruling, Economics, Social, Education and Judicial, and presents them not as a series of individual academic studies, but as an integrated whole, showing how each system complements the others, how they apply directly in our lifes afairs, and how we should work to bring them back into the world arena.

This excellent book is translated from the original Arabic book 'Nidham ul Islam' by Sheikh Taqiuddin An Nabahani, an Islamic jurist, 'alim, writer and the founder of Hizb ut-Tahrir - the largest Islamic global political party under a single leadership. It lays out the fundamentals to develop a strong Islamic personality and da'wah carrier. It begins with laying the foundation by explaining the correct way to belief. It proves the existence of a creator intellectually and the Quran as the final revelation sent to humanity by Allah (swt). It then goes on to clarify the important creedal concept of Al-Qada wal Qadar (fate and destiny), which is often held in a vague or confused manner. The third chapter, its largest concentrates on explaining the different ideologies that exists namely Capitalism, Communism and Islam highlighting the differences between them giving the reader a clear framework to understand the world that we live in. After having laid the basis for the correct belief, intellectual and political thinking, it then moves onto address the key Islamic legal principles. The short chapters are intended to focus on the most important aspects such as Usuli subjects like the meaning of Hukm Shar'i, the types of ahkam shariah, Sunnah and emulating (ta'assi) the actions of the Messenger (saw). The last section of the book also clarifies misconceptions regarding spirituality and morals according to Islam as well as articulating the need for a constitution for the future Islamic state.
