This book covers the attributes of Jezebel. Jezebel demonstrates a pattern that she follows within a church. —She attaches herself to the leadership of the church. —She creates soul ties with the hurt, wounded, and discontent members. —She has prophetic words of personal prophecy, which inevitably produces spiritual pride. —She has a private ministry, outside of the consent of the church leadership. —She looks for a position in the church— a position of authority, not service. —She seeks information about what is happening in the church and in member’s lives. —She abhors any form of accountability for her actions.

According to the author, for the past 20 years in the church world and in the business world, many great marriages and families have fallen apart. Leaders have failed to give their followers and supporters closure about what really happened in their marriages. Especially in the church world, many are left hanging and hurting because they have lost trust. Destiny Boaz, a pastor’s wife, is the first to bring out a true, open, honest and transparent story to let her readers know why and how her own marriage fell apart. She believes that healing must take place in the lives of God’s people. Closure is very important for one to move forward. This book will appeal to readers, men as well as women, because the home is in trouble and marriages are in trouble. Sometimes they feel something is wrong but they are unable to put their finger on it. This book will help them identify why the intimacy in their marriage is over, why the communication in the relationship is dying, why the intimacy goes cold and the passion dies. Demonization has increasingly become central to the global religious and political landscape. Passing Orders interrogates this centrality through an analysis of evangelical “spiritual warfare” demonologies in contemporary America. Situating spiritual warfare as part of broader frameworks of American exceptionalism, ethnonationalism, and empire management, author S. Jonathon O’Donnell exposes the theological foundations of the systems of queer- and transphobia, anti-blackness, Islamophobia, and settler colonialism that justify the dehumanizing practices of the current U.S. political order. O’Donnell argues that demonologies are not only tools of dehumanization but also ontological and biopolitical systems that create and maintain structures of sovereign power, or orthotaxies—models of the “right ordering” of space, time, and bodies that stratify humanity into hierarchies of being and nonbeing. Alternative orders are demonized as passing, framed as counterfeit, transgressive, and transient. Yet these orders refuse to simply pass on, instead giving strength to deviant desires that challenge the legitimacy of sovereign violence. Critically examining this challenge in the demonologies of three figures—Jezebel, the Islamic Antichrist, and Leviathan—Passing Orders re-imagines demons as a surprising source of political and social resistance, reflecting fragile and fractious communities bound by mutual passing and precarity into strategic coalitions of solidarity, subversion, and survival.
