The Directorate of Advanced Concepts, Technologies, and Information Strategies (ACTIS) feels that publishing this work will help incubate additional thinking in the c4I community with respect to training and education for the next decade. Although ACTIS may not necessarily endorse every one of the book's specific recommendations, it applauds the author's efforts to break away from the rigidity of old paradigms and offer new ideas for improving joint training.
