The identification numbers of all recorded sons are included in the proved-sire record on file in each State office. It has been demonstrated that. Sons of good proved sires, that is, sires that have transmitted high-producing capac ity to a large percentage of their daughters, can be used with greater assurance of success than sons of sires that have not been proved.
