The Methodist Episcopal Church has always manifested a commendable interest in properly written memoirs of her de ceased Bishops. But, unfortunately, in several instances there has been either a lack of data attainable for the production of such memoirs, or a lack of interest or industry on the part of surviving friends in preparing them.
