Addison is a regular kid whose parents are going through a divorce, but he knows that no matter what happens, his parents will always love him. The text in this beautifully illustrated picture book is inspiring, gentle, and uplifting, and teaches kids that having two homes to live in can be just as great as having two strong feet to stand on.

Everything seemed perfect in James Richardson's life. All the components of the American Dream seemed to be in place: a lovely home, a wife, two sons, the time required for fishing and outdoors adventures, and an invigorating career as an advanced placement world history teacher in Tampa, Florida. In the horror of a split-second, high-speed traffic accident, everything changed. When Richardson awoke in a hospital weeks later with a variety of physical and emotional injuries, he had no idea the obstacles he was about to face. Overcome by a haze of bewilderment, he tried to rise from his hospital bed. He crashed to the floor. His left leg was gone. One by one, the seemingly perfect building blocks of an American Dream were stripped from him. Secrets from his wife's past life emerged, painting a dark character with whom he had unwittingly shared every detail of his life. For James Richardson, this was the moment of truth. Alone, injured, boiling with anger, and with only a string of hope, he had to ask himself: Would he ever again be Standing on Two Feet?

Joe Camber is a retired middleweight United Kingdom champion and a former WBC champion. After his divorce, Joe purchases a modern red-brick semi-detached house on Willet Close on the outskirts of the town centre. He likes where he lives, regardless of it being modest for a rich and famous person. But when his decent, down-to-earth neighbours start to go missing without trace or forewarning, Joe grows suspicious as to their whereabouts. He decides to stake out in his attic watching the cul-de-sac street intently, all day and night. At first the unexplainable events are considered to be nothing more than intruders playing a malevolent game on them. Then Joe sees the group of faceless, hooded figures, dressed in black one-piece outfits, lurking on their peaceful street in the dead of night - and his blood turns to ice. But that's not their main concern compared to the thing with the goat's head, resurrecting the dead to do its evil deeds on the unholy ground Joe and his neighbours are living on. One by one good people lose their lives, until the remaining survivors take it upon themselves to confront the thing with the goat’s head and the Acolytes of Doom (the hooded figures, doing the work of the demon). Is their bravery merely a suicide mission? Can they put a stop to this atrocity, where the authorities have failed? Or will the thing with the goat’s head reign supreme?

'Beautifully written and produced' 'Packed full of thought-provoking truths' 'A good devotional read or for anyone with a busy schedule' Part-serialised in Quiet Spaces, the prayer and spirituality journal from BRF. Jesus said, 'I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children ... 'These are radical words; potentially life-changing words. Yet how many of us truly believe that we need to become like little children? What might be the implications for our life and faith? As a Child is an exploration of this call to childlikeness, this call to littleness - a call made not to children, but to adults - not to those who are naturally childlike, but to those who have grown out of their childlike nature. It is a book for all who desire to grow in their faith, to enter into all that God has for us, to live the life God wants us to live and to be the people God wants us to be. For all are willing to respond to Jesus' call, and become like a little child.
