This book is the culmination of a long-time desire to find specific and detailed information which can be used to help myself and other arrowhead collectors in the northern California, northern Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Utah and Idaho areas identify the many finely made ancient and authentic types of stone arrowheads which we have found in the Pacific Northwest. It gathers descriptive information and combines this with photographs of examples of the various point types, all to help the casual collector and the serious hobbyist to understand stone projectile points which he or she sees and finds. Thus it is an arrowhead collector's guide to type identification of the stone projectile points of the Pacific Northwest. This Second Edition adds many more examples and additional types of projectile points ... arrowheads, dart points, lance points and others. Plus, I have re-worked the graphic presentation of the artifacts to make everything easier to read. The first edition was 144 pages; this Second Edition is 217 pages, full color.
