This book is a result of my passion for cooking, my travels across parts of Asia and a tribute to moms who cook for children with allergies to gluten and dairy/casein. Being a mother of a child with special needs who has been on a gluten free and dairy free diet for the past several years, I thought it would be a great idea to bring forward some of the well known as well as lesser known recipes from parts of Asia. All of the recipes in this book are tried and tested with very little substitutions made so they taste as they traditionally should. The book features recipes from parts of Asia (India, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia). The recipes have been categorized as appetizers, main courses and desserts. The recipes are written keeping in mind that a child/person with allergies to gluten and dairy is easily included at the dinner table. Recipes featured in this book range from Vegetable Pulao to desserts like mango custard and bur bur cha cha. This book is ideal for people who love Asian food and is a handy guide for simple everyday cooking. I am hoping this book will be an asset to any kitchen where wholesome meals are cooked and eating with family and friends are celebrated.

Step into the locker rooms and living rooms of NFL players and their families to see how a close relationship with God guides football's biggest stars. In a behind-the-scenes, off-the-field glimpse into one of America's most beloved sports, Men of Sunday reveals how Sunday's greatest rely on God to face issues such as drug abuse, family crisis, injuries, and temptations resulting from fame and fortune. Compiled from dozens of interviews, Men of Sunday marks the intersection of two Sunday traditions: faith and football. Inspired by the league's "systemic shift" toward embracing Christianity, Bloomberg writer Curtis Eichelberger shows how God is a source of comfort when facing the unique challenges of life in the NFL and the everyday challenges of maintaining strong families and building character. Featured personalities include Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis New York Jets running back LaDainian Tomlinson Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers Former Chicago Bears middle linebacker Mike Singletary Cincinnati Bengals coach Marvin Lewis Former Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy San Diego Chargers pastor Shawn Mitchell Danisha Rolle, wife of former Tennessee and Baltimore defensive back Samari Rolle And many more Men of Sunday is a must-have for any football fan, teaching the invaluable lesson of trusting in the Lord—both on and off the field.

God called you to a life of courage, not comfort. In Dangerous Prayers, Groeschel will show you how to pray the prayers that search your soul, break your habits, and send you out to pursue the calling God has for you. You'll be moved to take a long, hard look at your heart. But you'll be inspired, too. Dangerous Prayers will give you the encouragement and tools you need to: Transform the patterns around your daily prayer life Truly embrace and believe in the power of intentional prayer Start to pray daring, faith-filled, God-honoring, life-changing, world-transforming prayers You'll discover the secret to overcoming fears of loss, rejection, failure, and the unknown, and you'll welcome the blessings God has for you on the other side. The Christian Athlete is a gospel-centered guide that assists athletes who identify as Christians and are seeking to understand how to practically apply their faith to their sport. Athletes desire—and deserve—a more substantive expression of the Christian faith in the context of sport, but they don’t know what it looks like or where to turn to learn more. Author Brian Smith shares his story as an athlete and coach, and his experience working with high-level athletes in the last decade to help readers better understand how to integrate faith and sport by: Assisting those who want a wide-angled understanding of how to live the Christian faith in the context of sports Walking through the many questions Christian athletes ask about winning, losing, injuries, practice, and everything in between Moving Christian athletes from simply having clichéd spiritual sayings decorating their bodies or t-shirts to actually living out their faith through all the opportunities their sport offers them The Christian Athlete will show readers how to live out a biblical perspective on athletics and urge them to engage in the gifts they are given to glorify God whether they are the team MVP or riding the bench.

Sometimes situations are out of our hands, and all we can do is pray. As a mother of a college athlete, I found myself in that situation. So I prayed, not only for Kasey, my daughter, but also for her teammates, coaches, and anyone who might interact with them while they were playing softball or traveling to and from games. As you read these prayers, you can revisit the outcomes of the games and the 2015–2017 schedules for insights.
