Why we don't see the outpouring Jesus did? How do we build a correct church? You cannot have the church of the book of Acts without the Apostles of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The reason Acts "works" is people were discipled in the ways of the Kingdom, revelation was tapped into, the Spirit was outpoured, and based on that, God was pleased to move among them. Without the Gospels, you have a form with no power, a body with no heart, a fireplace with no flames. What is the thing that the gates of hell cannot overcome? The revelation of Jesus Christ. The way of the Kingdom. The truth of Who He was. The Life that can only flow from that proper relationship. Many people are talking about "Kingdom mindedness" with little understanding of it. The Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, an eternal one, that, like the Chariots surrounding Elijah, were by nature spiritual but produced miraculous results on Earth. This book presents revised papers delivered at the 1998 and 1999 Taubes Minerva Center for Religious Anthropology conferences. The papers from the 1998 conference discuss the role of sacrifice in religious experience from a comparative perspective. Those from the second conference examine alternatives to sacrifice. The first theme has been much elaborated in recent scholarship, and the essays here participate in that on-going inquiry. The second theme has been less explored, and the goal of this volume is to stimulate examination of the topic by offering a set of test cases. In both sections of the volume a wide variety of religious traditions are considered. The essays show that in spite of the inclination we may sometimes have to consider sacrifice part of the idolatrous past, long overcome, it remains a persistent and meaningful part of religious experience.

His third work is Mahabharathathil Krishnan in Tamil dealing with the role of Lord Krishna in Mahabharatham, another great Indian epic. His fourth book is Kamban Kanum Th irumal in Tamil . He has chosen three hundred and seventy five wonderful verses from the well-known Tamil masterpiece Kamba Ramayanam, in which the great poet Kamban depicts Rama, a man, as Lord Vishnu, the God. These verses are based on a very rich background in Tamil literature. The present work Pure Gems of Ramayanam is an English translation of his Ramayana Th oomanigal in Tamil, the second book written by him. It is a research work on the twelve characters of Valmiki Ramayanam.
