Glimpses of God's Grace in the Hospital Room If you've ever spent time in a hospital, you know that it can be a place of struggles and hardships. These hardships aren't limited to physical problems; often when our bodies are in pain, our spiritual lives can suffer too. Former trauma surgeon Dr. Kathryn Butler experienced this firsthand as she walked alongside patients, colleagues, and friends through various illnesses and aching loss. In Glimmers of Grace, Butler draws from this experience to guide believers through the deep questions of God's trustworthiness in the midst of suffering. Blending memoir and devotional reflections, Butler interweaves her own stories of grace with narratives from Scripture to reveal how God's steadfast love endures even in times of great affliction.

In today’s world, women desperately struggle to meet the unrealistic expectations of others and of themselves. Society tells women they can do it all, and yet they instinctively know they do not have the resources to accomplish all the demands placed upon them. Drawing on their own strength is not enough; in order to survive, women must draw on God. Sixty Days of Grace shares sixty stories from author Dorothy Ruppert, who has struggled through life and succeeded, only because of God’s grace. This grace is the prevalent theme of the Bible. From beginning to end, the accounts of the lives of biblical figures demonstrate His eternal grace. However, in modern society His grace is often overlooked. There are many challenges women face as daughters of the King living in a broken environment. Ruppert has been there, as mother, grandmother, working woman, and retiree. Thanks to His grace, she found her strength. All women can do the same, with the power of God. It’s time to turn away from self-sufficiency and lean on God’s everlasting arm, because His grace is sufficient for the journey; His power is made perfect in human weakness.

Grace is the credential that lets us park close to people's hearts. When Christ calls a pastor He instills a kind of heightened instinct for grace; what we call a shepherd's heart. However, pastors often become disoriented by leadership demands, congregational expectation, and the wounds of ministry. They forget how to use the grace of Christ in the everyday work of pastoring. Through striking word pictures and stories that resonate with every pastor, this book will reinvigorate pastors' instincts for practicing grace in the churches they shepherd. Whether you are training to be a pastor and wondering if you are called, a seasoned shepherd needing encouragement and affirmation, or simply someone who wants to encourage your pastor, you will appreciate the sage wisdom and confirmation poured out in the pages of Pastoral Graces.

This book reveals so many miracles that God has shown me and my family during the passing of our parents. The miracle that stands out the most, is the morning when my mother went to Heaven. At that moment, the room was filled with the radiant sunlight and loving warmth, which I have never experienced before. The room seemed to be in grandeur ,so much that I fell to my knees in praise. I felt, as if I were in the presence of God, Almighty. I was filled with great joy and horrific sorrow, at the same time. I wanted to share with my family the beautiful sun shining in the room, so I took a photo of the window. A few days later, I saw what looked to be God, opening the Heavenly realms, for us to see. What we saw took us by amazement. It was an angel by my mother's side, comforting her, and little glowing beings above her, as to protect her from evil that was in the atmosphere. Luke16:22 tells us, how God sends the angels to escort us to Heaven. To this day, God has placed his grace on me and my family that is, beyond all understanding. We know that it is not good-bye, but see you soon. We know mom and dad are in paradise today. To God be the glory!
