The Macroeconomic Condition in Indonesia entered a quite challenging period in the tumultuous political year. The consumer sector, which has been moving negatively, has become one of the choices ahead of the State Budget Allocation which focuses on village subsidies and funds, and the momentum of the 2019 Presidential Election. In the 4-year report of the Governance Period of President Joko Widodo and Vice President Jusuf Kalla, the ease of business brought Indonesia as a worthy country of investment. Since 2017, Indonesia has been categorized as a country with a worthy investment rating by three leading international rating agencies (Moody’s, Fitch, and Standard & Poor’s). The status is an indication that Indonesia is trusted by international investors. In line with ease of business, Indonesia’s Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) ranking also continues to soar, which was 72nd in 2017. The surge shows a continuous structural improvement. The Center for Indonesian Investment Data Information (PIDII), as a government partner in the investment development efforts, participates to make efforts on investment promotional activities both via the Internet and publishing a book. Data or information we provide through the media is expected to add to the information required by investors. We extend our appreciation and gratitude to the Regional Governments for the participation and trust that has been given to us, as well as our countless thanks to various stakeholders who have helped and supported the realization of the book publishing activity. We hope that the book entitled the “Investment Opportunities in Indonesia” 7 th edition will benefit to all of us, especially in increasing investment growth in Indonesia and the national economy. This book explores the ways in which theologians at the early University of Paris promoted the development of this new centre of education into a prominent institution within late medieval society. Drawing upon a range of evidence, including many theological texts available only in manuscripts, Spencer E. Young uncovers a vibrant intellectual community engaged in debates on such issues as the viability of Aristotle's natural philosophy for Christian theology, the implications of the popular framework of the seven deadly sins for spiritual and academic life, the social and religious obligations of educated masters, and poor relief. Integrating the intellectual and institutional histories of the Faculty of Theology, Young demonstrates the historical significance of these discussions for both the university and the thirteenth-century church. He also reveals the critical role played by many of the early university's lesser-known members in one of the most transformative periods in the history of higher education.

A soldier and statesman for the ages, the Duke of Wellington is a towering figure in world history. John Severn now offers a fresh look at the man born Arthur Wellesley to show that his career was very much a family affair, a lifelong series of interactions with his brothers and their common Anglo-Irish heritage. The untold story of a great family drama, Architects of Empire paints a new picture of the era through the collective biography of Wellesley and his siblings. Severn takes readers from the British Raj in India to the battlefields of the Napoleonic Wars to the halls of Parliament as he traces the rise of the five brothers from obscurity to prominence. Severn covers both the imperial Indian period before 1800 and the domestic political period after 1820, describing the wide range of experiences Arthur and his brothers lived through. Architects of Empire brings together in a single volume a grand story that before now was discernible only through political or military analysis. Weaving the personal history of the brothers into a captivating narrative, it tells of sibling rivalry among men who were by turns generous and supportive, then insensitive and cruel. Whereas other historians have minimized the importance of family ties, Severn provides an unusually nuanced understanding of the Duke of Wellington. Architects of Empire casts his career in a new light--one that will surprise those who believe they already know the man.
