Manning, Fraternal Delegate, American Federation of Labor, rose to speak he was greeted by all present with the old familiar words: For he's a jolly good fellow. I second the motion, remarked Mr. Manning. I only arrived here this morning and am not feeling in the best of spirits, as they certainly handed us something on that steamer. I can say, however, that the Yankee delegate was the only one that was'n't sick. You can draw your own conclusions. Let us get together and be fraternal. I am delighted to be selected as ambassador fromthe American Federation of Labor, and know that there is a good time in store for me as I have been told that the two Mayors have been appointed to entertain me.
