The Sisterhood series is about four women who grew up together. Ironically, they resemble each other very much (same color hair and eyes), and yet all four come from completely different parents. They went to the same school together, and they know more about each other than their families know. In middle school, they took an oath to stand by each other and formed their sisterhood. As adults, they have become very strong together, and they watch each other's backs. Growing up, they discovered certain skills that each of them possessed, and over the years, those skills got stronger. It was amazing what they accomplished without anyone knowing about it. When they touch hands together in their gathering circle, a powerful electrical charge runs between them. Their little hometown was safe with them in charge, even if the citizens had no idea what was going on behind closed doors. The first four books in the series present to the reader one of the sisters. She usually has an issue that needs to be dealt with, and the sisters form a gathering and take care of the business. Certain twists and turns happen throughout the story of that sister, and the fifth book will provide the answers to questions left to be answered within each book. Reading about all four of the sisters will help you digest and find the answers you will be seeking in book 5, entitled Sisterhood: The Answers, to be released in 2024.

The beloved New York Times bestseller from acclaimed author Eleanor Brown about three sisters who love each other, but just don't happen to like each other very much. Three sisters have returned to their childhood home, reuniting the eccentric Andreas family. Here, books are a passion (there is no problem a library card can't solve) and TV is something other people watch. Their father—a professor of Shakespeare who speaks almost exclusively in verse—named them after the Bard's heroines. It's a lot to live up to. The sisters each have a hard time communicating with their parents and their lovers, but especially with one another. What can the shy homebody eldest sister, the fast-living middle child, and the bohemian youngest sibling have in common? Only that none has found life to be what was expected; and now, faced with their parents' frailty and their own personal disappointments, not even a book can solve what ails them...

The Sisterhood - Story of Bella is the first book in a series of 5 individual books. The storyline is basically about 4 women who grow up together in a small town in Mississippi. They are sisters to one another and end up controlling the town and everything that happens within and around the town. Bella happens to be one of the sisters and she is a fashion model who ventures away from town and travels all over Europe for her career. She eventually moves back to her hometown with a new husband in tow. Bella really does not know who she married and of course the other sisters are somewhat leery of him as something just doesn't seem right. Well, could they be right and when one of the sisters happens to learn about a few things he does not want Bella to know about, the world takes on a new look. The sisters come together to review all the information they know, make plans on how to verify the information and then decide on what to do. They have hidden talents that only they know about that enable them to do many things out of the ordinary. There is a mystery man who seems to be hiding in plain sight throughout the story. Who is this man and what is he doing? Odd how nobody has picked up on his presence yet. And who is he reporting to? This first book ends with a concern about what will happen next and the 2nd book - "The Story of Eleanor" will bring some light to the mystery man. Each book is about each sister with the final book tying the 4 previous stories together. Save the 5th book for last so you can be surprised with the final ending.

Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine meets Early Morning Riser with a dash of Where’d You Go, Bernadette in this “funny and insightful” (Real Simple) novel about one woman whose life is turned upside down when she becomes caregiver to her sister with special needs. Every family has its fault lines, and when Maggie gets a call from the ER in Maryland where her older sister lives, the cracks start to appear. Ginny, her sugar-loving and diabetic older sister with intellectual disabilities, has overdosed on strawberry Jell-O. Maggie knows Ginny really can’t live on her own, so she brings her sister and her occasionally vicious dog to live near her in upstate New York. Their other sister, Betsy, is against the idea but as a professional surfer, she is conveniently thousands of miles away. Thus, Maggie’s life as a caretaker begins. It will take all of her dark humor and patience, already spread thin after a separation, raising two boys, freelancing, an ex who just won’t go away, and starting a dating life, to deal with Ginny’s diapers, sugar addiction, porn habit, and refusal to cooperate. “The Frederick sisters will have you laughing out loud—often through tears—in this roller coaster ride of a novel that explores what it means to be family” (Tracey Lange, New York Times bestselling author).

‘Frightening and timely, Bradley’s The Sisterhood is the book everyone should read this year. If you thought it ended with Orwell, think again . . .' CHRISTINA DALCHER Vox meets The Handmaid’s Tale in this feminist reimagining of 1984 In Oceania, whoever you are, Big Brother is always watching you and trust is a luxury that no one has. Julia is the seemingly perfect example of what women in Oceania should be: dutiful, useful, subservient, meek. But Julia hides a secret. A secret that would lead to her death if it is discovered. For Julia is part of the underground movement called The Sisterhood, whose main goal is to find members of The Brotherhood, the anti-Party vigilante group, and help them to overthrow Big Brother. Only then can everyone be truly free. When Julia thinks she’s found a potential member of The Brotherhood, it seems like their goal might finally be in their grasp. But as she gets closer to Winston Smith, Julia’s past starts to catch up with her and we soon realise that she has many more secrets than we’d first imagined – and that overthrowing Big Brother might cost her everything – but if you have nothing left to lose then you don’t mind playing the game . . . This is a story about love, about family, about being a woman, a mother, a sister, a friend and ultimately about what you would sacrifice for the greater good. 'Fast-paced and suspenseful . . . The Sisterhood's greatest gift, however, may be in its message of hope, capable of surmounting even the most formidable of odds and the most uncertain of futures' KATHERINE J. CHEN, author of Joan 'A gut-wrenching, heart-breaking journey through the looking glass of 1984. Compulsively written, Julia’s is a story begging to be told' FREYA BERRY, author of The Dictator's Wife 'A shockingly relevant take on a classic' CLAIRE MCGOWAN, author of This Could Be Us 'A dazzling retelling of the classic dystopian novel, which raises profound questions about how society works, and whether or not woman have political agency. I found it memorable, deeply moving, and at times, terrifying' KATE RHODES, author of the Ben Kitto series 'Katherine Bradley has delivered a worthy counterpart to George Orwell's 1984 in this chilling, taut book. It's as claustrophobic as it needs to be; particularly frightening as one looks around and sees that we are voluntarily moving towards Orwell's nightmare. It is nothing short of a triumph' MARA TIMON, author of City of Spies ‘In this highly original take on Orwell’s 1984– the Big Brother of all dystopian classics – Bradley weaves a complex and engaging plot around the idea of a female resistance to oppressive overlords. Oppressive and creepy, but with real heart’ A. K. TURNER, author of Body Language
