Manuel Pastor Jr., Chris Benner, and Martha Matsuoka offer their analysis with an eye toward evaluating what has and has not worked in various campaigns to achieve regional equity. They were guessing the names of big things they usually see on the road. "Is it a house?" like the overload trailers that transport mobile homes. Or "Is it a . . . ?" or "Could it be a . . . ?" She imagined as the curious minds pondered and wondered. Then visibility returned. The sense used to detect what was in the way was realized, and a new color emerged, a color to add to their vocabulary of colors. What is it? What color is it? And which of the five senses was realized?
