In the 1st century A.D., a fraction of 1% of the world (the saints) received the 'gift' of God and eternal life, as prophesied [see Daniel 12:1-3]. The other 99.99999999% perished in hell! Today, nearly 33% of the world has received the "gift" of God. They are growing spiritually in 'this life' and will become spirit beings like the angels at the resurrection [see Luke 20:34-36].
