The universal claims of both the I Ching, "the book of changes", the compendium of Chinese natural knowledge and the genetic code, "the book of life", encouraged Dr. Schönberger to establish the hypothesis of a general system in nature. He has verified in numerous parallels the congruence of both the I Ching code and the genetic code. The sensational results are detailed for the first time in this book. The "I Ching & the Genetic Code" is an important and exciting link between science and spirituality!

The I Ching Project was inaugurated in 1986 when the initial research on an ancient Tibetan Mandala revealed a trigram relationship with the I Ching, the Chinese book of changes. For the past 30 years the author has conducted a private research project, delving deeply into Tantric/Buddhist symbolism and the commentaries of the I Ching. The author’s research work has revealed and conclusively proves the existence of a lost civilisation, whose mathematical and scientific knowledge not only equalled but surpassed its Greek and Egyptian contemporaries. This book contains a series of commentaries, research notes and illustrations selected from the author’s amazing research work which will astonish practitioners, philosophers and scholars of the ancient art of divination. The author demonstrates and show that the scribes of this civilization retained their knowledge and wisdom for posterity within a computerized time capsule of pictographic images. His work proves that the I Ching is not only a book of divination but a profound book of mathematics and science. It also incorporates the original binary code, which can now be attributed to the ancient authors of the I Ching some 4000 years ago.

This book contains a series of commentaries, research notes and illustrations selected from the author's amazing research work. It shows how the notational values (for trigram transposition) which change the ancient symbolic language of the I Ching into a simple numerical language were oringinally derived from the combined symbolic mathematics of the ancient Ho-T'u - The Dragon Horse diagram and the Lo Shu - The Tortoise diagram. This document provides additional conclusive evidence that the originator(s) of the I Ching employed a mathematical system (developed during the Ch'in and Han dynasties) which encompassed a formalistic natural philosophy that sought to embrace the entire world in a system of number symbolism. In addition, the research work contained herein sets out to prove, by using mathematical operand gates methodology, that the destiny/fate of an individual being is dependent upon their own genetic DNA.

The I Ching, also called Book of Changes, is the most comprehensive and oldest oracle originated in ancient China. The I Ching (consists of 64 Hexagrams) signifies all situations and behaviors relating to nature and humans. The I Ching system is the integration of cosmology, philosophy, mathematics, symbolism and divination. It stresses the point of balance of opposites; indicates the changeable and the unchangeable which is that things change inevitably as times and conditions change while the laws of nature never change. Binary Number, the modern computer language, was invented by Gottfried Leibniz in 1679. Leibniz was deeply inspired by the I Ching. He recognized and wrote that his original concept of Binary System (using only the digit 0 and 1 throughout the computation) was corresponded to the I Ching’s Trigram (binary number from 000 to 111) thus the Hexagrams (Gua). Yin (0) and Yang (1) are the basic binary configuration of the I Ching symbols. Furthermore, DNA (the hereditary material of all life) Genetic Code, which consists of 64-Triplet of nucleotides, is exactly analogous to the 64-Triplet System of the I Ching. Isn’t that miraculous? Besides the above stated values, the philosophical and symbolic structures of the I Ching are also infinitely valued. The I Ching originally contains a system of divination. However the Numerology of I Ching, which was derived thousands of years later, significantly enriches the I Ching divinatory methods. It adds values of numeric, time, symbolism and the Five Elements (mutual generation and restriction between Metal, Fire, Water, Wood and Earth) to the original I Ching divination system, makes it simple to learn; swift to be used and miraculous the results. This book will focus on introducing this numerological way of divination. In order to allow beginners to straightforwardly understand this numerology in a short time, this book employs plenty of graphical images and charts to make it easy and simple to learn. All steps of divination are presented as visualized as possible. As a I Ching beginner or a lover, you will enjoy the great fun of using the Numerology of I Ching in life, in problem-solving or decision-making. — David Huang

This book contains a series of research notes and graphical illustrations selected from the author’s amazing research work. It shows how: · The Sixty-Four hexagrams were derived by using combinatory trigrams selected from the Earlier Heaven and Later Heaven trigram cyclic sequences. · The legendary authors of the I Ching, known as Fu Hsi and King Wen, used Key Coded Matrices which enabled them to change the hexagrams of the ancient Ma-wang-tui into the Standard Modern edition. · The formulation of the Trigram Order of Completion was derived by using Knight’s Chess /binary codes and the manipulation of hexagram identification numbers. · The cyclic sequences and trigram line to line transitions were utilized to formulate the King Wen’s hexagram arrangement. · The natural numerical notation for each individual trigram was mathematically derived. · The author’s inter-face code was derived and used to determine the mathematical methodology of the Genetic Code. · Trigram lines are manipulated to form the Inner and Outer Nuclear trigrams/ hexagrams. · The Genetic Code was determined from Fu Hsi’s diagram of the derivation of the Sixty-Four hexagrams. It also includes the constructional details of an analytical model calculator which can be created from the actual design details shown within this book. This document provides the conclusive evidence that the originator(s) of the I Ching used a mathematical system which encompassed a formalistic natural philosophy that sought to embrace the entire world in a system of number symbolism. It shows the links to the ancient Indian Vedic mathematical system which reveals the relationship between the I Ching and the Binary / Genetic Codes.

This is a detailed history of one of the most important and dramatic episodes in modern science, recounted from the novel vantage point of the dawn of the information age and its impact on representations of nature, heredity, and society. Drawing on archives, published sources, and interviews, the author situates work on the genetic code (1953-70) within the history of life science, the rise of communication technosciences (cybernetics, information theory, and computers), the intersection of molecular biology with cryptanalysis and linguistics, and the social history of postwar Europe and the United States. Kay draws out the historical specificity in the process by which the central biological problem of DNA-based protein synthesis came to be metaphorically represented as an information code and a writing technology—and consequently as a “book of life.” This molecular writing and reading is part of the cultural production of the Nuclear Age, its power amplified by the centuries-old theistic resonance of the “book of life” metaphor. Yet, as the author points out, these are just metaphors: analogies, not ontologies. Necessary and productive as they have been, they have their epistemological limitations. Deploying analyses of language, cryptology, and information theory, the author persuasively argues that, technically speaking, the genetic code is not a code, DNA is not a language, and the genome is not an information system (objections voiced by experts as early as the 1950s). Thus her historical reconstruction and analyses also serve as a critique of the new genomic biopower. Genomic textuality has become a fact of life, a metaphor literalized, she claims, as human genome projects promise new levels of control over life through the meta-level of information: control of the word (the DNA sequences) and its editing and rewriting. But the author shows how the humbling limits of these scriptural metaphors also pose a challenge to the textual and material mastery of the genomic “book of life.”

This book represents the results of 45 years of research on a wide range of topics, including atomic physics, single-molecule enzymology, whole-cell metabolism, physiology, pharmacology, linguistics, semiotics, and cosmology. It describes the first comprehensive molecular theory of the genotype-phenotype coupling based on two key theoretical concepts: (i) the conformon, the conformational wave packet in biopolymers carrying both the free energy and genetic information; and (ii) the intracellular dissipative structures, the chemical concentration waves inside the cell that serve as the immediate drivers of all cell functions. Conformons provide the driving forces for all molecular machines in the cell, and intracellular dissipative structures coordinate intra- and intercellular processes such as gene expression and cell-cell communications. One of the predictions made by the cell language theory (CLT) is that there are two forms of genetic information — the Watson–Crick genes transmitting information in time (identified with DNA), and the Prigoginian genes transmitting information in space (identified with RNA expression profiles). The former is analogous to sheet music or written language and the latter is akin to audio music or spoken language, both being coupled by conformons acting as the analog of the pianist. The new theory of DNA structure and function constructed on the basis of CLT can rationally account for most of the puzzling findings recently unearthed by the ENCODE (Encyclopedia of DNA Elements) project. The Cell Language Theory has important applications in biomedical sciences including drug discovery research and personalized medicine on the one hand and in the mind-body research and consciousness studies on the other.
