The Millennium of Inner Truth THE UNIVERSE OF THE INNER TRUTHIs there a cosmos? I asked. If there is, what is its function? So said the inner truth: I think the right thoughts, I think the false thoughts in the minds of imaginary men; yet, there is nothing in my mind. Only one thought is within me, this one great thought that rises from nowhere is the entire universe, the myriads of beings. Yet there is nothing within me. This one great thought, everlasting, without a source of origin vacuous and empty, void of all contents; nothing comes from it, nothing enters it. Is there any reality in the cosmos and its law? So said the inner truth: The thought activities of the One mind take the shape of the cosmos and its beings, the veil of illusions has no reality, thoughts rise from nowhere, thoughts return to the nowhere. The appearance of the universe, the function of the universe, the dissolution of the cosmos, the myriads of beings, are a mental game.
