Nissoor since ages has been known for its ostrobogulous and mysterious practice of burying the empty coffins. What did they do with the corpse? Some believed that the Nissoorians cremated their dead ones and kept their bones carved into knives and pendants as their memory and buried an empty coffin of their name in the graveyard.
