The caveman diet, also referred as the Paleolithic diet, is a diet with an odd concept and aimed to mimic as closely as possible the way our caveman ancestors ate. More than ten thousand years ago, the period was called Paleolithic period during which the human ancestors were hunters and gatherers. They consumed the foods that they could find in the wild, including vegetables and fruits that grew locally. During that time, everything was consumed raw and milk & other dairy products were not obtainable as animals had not been domesticated. The majority of paleo-omnivores "cheat." Most of them still use oil (lots of oil!) and many more still consume dairy products (sometimes raw dairy, but mostly pasteurized) and quinoa. I also found several small groups of omni-paleos who were regularly eating legumes! So, perhaps true paleo isn't possible for anyone? Or perhaps this suggests you can be vegetarian-paleo and "cheat"like everyone else if you want to... I have tried and enjoyed my daily intake of vegetarian dishes. Perhaps you can also

★★Want to lose weight, feel great and have more energy? Try these delicious and healthy recipes using vegetable paleo dishes.★★ The Paleo diet is based on the idea that humans evolved on a diet of wild or grass-fed animals, fowl, eggs, fish, shellfish, vegetables, fruit, nuts, and seeds. Our bodies are designed to thrive on these Paleolithic foods, and they give us a proper balance of vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, and antioxidants. Once grains and legumes became a major part of the human diet with the introduction of agriculture about 10,000 years ago, human health began to steadily decline. But there are some standard features of Paleo cuisine. It generally relies heavily on local and seasonal ingredients, from produce and herbs to grazing animals and wild seafood. Warm spices such as cumin, cinnamon, coriander, paprika, turmeric, and saffron are lit up by the bright flavors of fresh herbs like cilantro, parsley, and mint. Olives and olive oil are plentiful and used throughout the Paleo for tajines, salads, soups, and dips. There are many health benefits to this type of diet. Spiralizing helps you lose weight, gives you a new way to eat vegetable and fruits and encourages creative cooking. In addition, these recipes are gluten free and low carb. The recipes are broken up by different vegetable or fruit types - cucumber, zucchini, carrots, beets, butternut squash, parsnip, apple, pear, broccoli and turnip. There are plenty of foods besides meat in the paleo diet. After all, our ancestors were hunters and gatherers, and they likely ate plant-based diets for much of the time. Both paleo and vegan diets focus on clean eating, and "Paleo Easy Vegetables Meals" provides readers with 50 deliciously clean recipes that focus on fresh vegetables, nuts, sprouts, and healthy fats, including: - Best Baked Potato - Skillet-Roasted Brussels Sprouts - Roasted Broccoli - Cauliflower Soup - Whole Romanesco with Berbere With these full-flavored, whole-food recipes, you'll have hundreds of options for following the paleo lifestyles. The only vegetables book you'll ever need reveals hundreds of ways to cook nearly every vegetable under the sun. Every chapter includes seasonality and prep pointers and techniques, including hundreds of photographs and illustrations, gorgeous watercolor illustrations, and full-color recipe photography. Onions are grilled, caramelized, glazed, and pickled, cauliflower is grilled as steaks, and pot-roasted whole with a robust tomato sauce. Sweet potatoes are mashed and baked more than a dozen ways, plus turned into a salad, a soup, tacos, and a gratin. Plant-based cooking means different things to different people. We all come to plant-based eating with different goals in mind. From building a plant-centric plate to cooking with plant-based meat and dairy, you'll find everything you need here to create varied, satisfying meals. ♥♥Buy it NOW!♥♥

Every day animals are being mistreated and forced to spend their short and miserable life knowing that they will soon be butchered and fed to gluttons who have no respect or regard for inferior creatures that we are supposed to protect.HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS! Yes, you read that correctly, HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS (with a B) of animals are murdered each year to feed an already overweight fat population of gluttonous self centered individuals.People who can afford to consume meat are not of the starving who are forced to eat anything they can get their hands on in order to survive just another day. We are not capable of living solely off of meat alone. We were designed to be able to SURVIVE on a lot of things for a BRIEF TIME, and yes meat can be one of them. But while our bodies are capable of SURVIVING on many things if we absolutely have to, our bodies are designed to THRIVE on vegetation of the land. There are so many options for us to choose from when it comes to food. We do not need meat in order to thrive. So people who eat meat are doing so basically out of habit which has been passed down from generation to generation. It is up to you to break that vicious cycle! If you have to wean yourself off of meat then by all means do so. With their heavy emphasis on meat, paleo cookbooks have had little to offer vegans...until now. Athlete, coach, and vegan advocate Ellen Jaffe Jones joins forces with chef extraordinaire and culinary genius Alan Roettinger to present a surprising yet delectable blend of plant-based vegan cuisine and popular paleo diets. Ellen examines both vegan and paleo dietary approaches, culling myth from reality. Laying bare the essentials, she proposes a simple, straightforward way of eating based on natural, whole, unprocessed foods that both diet styles endorse. Nutritional charts let you compare at a glance the value of vital macronutrients, such as protein and calcium, which play an important role in paleo diets, so you can easily select healthful, power-packed, plant-based alternatives to help you survive the rigors of civilized life. Just a simple hunt and gathering at your local grocery store, farmers market, or back-yard garden is all you'll need to evolve your diet from primitive to superhuman. Alan then takes these basic principles and guidelines and sets your primeval taste buds ablaze by dishing up wild creations and exotic flavor combinations using a bounty of fresh, whole foods such as nuts and seeds, fruits, vegetables, wild-crafted greens and mushrooms, and healthy fats (as well as the occasional cheat of beans or grain-like seeds). Dishes like Oyster Mushroom and Baby Bok Choy Curry, Dandelion Salad with Beets, Roasted Pumpkin Dip, and Tuscan Kale with Chili, Garlic, and Black Olives highlight the culinary delights that await in Paleo Vegan.
