The pandemic COVID 19 has caused lot of trauma in the lives of millions of people worldwide. The loss of the loved ones, physical suffering, emotional issues and financial difficulties have led to a chaos. The pertinent question is where is God in the midst of this suffering. Is he listening to our heart cries, does he care, will he ever turn up, how long should we suffer and when will this end, keeps recurring in mind. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Weeping may tarry for the night but the Joy comes in the morning. There are thousands of promises in the scripture to motivate and encourage us during these troubled times. Effort has been made to gather 100 promises of God, that which God used to speak to me regularly and arranged these promises in to 10 each under each 'Life lesson from God'.

According to “Parade” magazine, on December 9, 2019, the top ten New Year’s resolutions were to lose weight, increase finances, exercise, start a new job, manage stress, stop smoking, improve relationships, stop procrastinating and set aside time for themselves. Although people had their own ideas of New Year’s resolutions, God’s plan was to lead people of the world to him by opening their eyes to a harsh reality while bringing light to deeds done in darkness. He wants his people to remember and acknowledge that God is in control. In Acts 26:18 Jesus said, “ I am sending you to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith to me.” Stop saying, “This is the worst year ever” or “I can’t wait until 2020 is over.” Regardless of the troubles we have faced in 2020, everyday is a gift from God. Let us all focus on Christ. God’s promises will sustain you in this pandemic and provide you with PEACE, PROTECTION, PROVISION, and PATIENCE.
