When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, almost immediately, I thought I should write a book about my experience. I began to write a few days after my surgery, when I was at home recovering. It is a book written while I battleded the disease. Since I wrote it while things were happening, on its pages I poured my heart. In it are my weaknesses and my strengths; Is a book that provokes many emotions, to cry, to laugh, to reflect. I included photos that illustrate many of the things I talk about. There are testimonies of my husband, my children, and other relatives where they reflect the way they handled the battle. It is a book that conveys the love of God and the love of family and friends who accompanied me throughout my process. A book inspired by the Holy Spirit; I could not have written it without His help. It is my desire that every person who reads it receives hope, peace, love and faith to face any difficult circumstances and experience God's embrace.

Hope, Courage and Strength We often see these three words associated with the journey of someone who survives cancer. But where do we find strength when we have never felt so weak? Where do we find courage to face a challenge of this magnitude? Where does hope spring from, and how do we possess it? Turning to the God she loves, Sandra found these answers in Him. This story recounts the cries of a desperate daughter seeking to find comfort, healing, and truth from her heavenly Father. Follow her journey as she learns to trust and lean on God as she walks the road to victory. There is no voice so compelling as the voice of experience In the Arms of My Beloved is a book I highly recommend, not only for the cancer patient herself, but also for all those who love her. Stacey Campbell, Revival Now! Ministries Sandras inspiring story offers hope and practical wisdom to those who are walking through difficult times, especially when faced with serious or life-threatening illnesses. Dr. Ruth Demian, MD

The prospect of developing Breast Cancer is a source of anxiety for many women. Breast Cancer remains the most common invasive cancer among women and is now becoming rampant among younger women. I was only 30 years old when I felt the lump; I discovered it when I did a self-exam during a bath. It lingered for one month because I thought it was nothing! Never wait; if you wait, you might go to the doctor, and you will hear that you have no waiting time. I went to the doctor, and it was a whirlwind when it was confirmed. Who would've thought that at age 30, I would be diagnosed with breast cancer? The life- altering disease came during the pandemic, which was indeed what is called a double trouble. From feeling like my life has ended with fear and anxiety, it's like life made a full stop. It was about doctors' visit and the word Cancer. it takes mental strength, a support system and a positive attitude to survive. I did multiple surgeries like removing my uterus and ovaries, removing the breast tissues and replacing them with a breast implant. The journey took one year, and it didn't stop at surgeries. I went on to chemotherapy because the cancer had spread to the lymph nodes in the arm. Chemotherapy was harsh; it changed my physical self . I lost my hair, lashes, and felt irritated, sick and crazy. Once again it took a strong mind to fight. After chemotherapy, it's radiation therapy, I do get up every morning for five weeks to get my breast chest wall radiated. I call it 'burn'. Cancer came with emotional struggles between my husband and myself, there were times when i felt i was losing him, but now we are stronger in love than before. My seven-year-old daughter, who was age four at the time of adversities, missed out on her mom for a whole year. So many tears, love and hope to fight and win for her, but together we celebrated the victory.

“My mother had five daughters -- four of us have had breast cancer. But we survived. And you can too. I'll show you how. My methods may be unorthodoxed, but when you learn to walk in your power -- you'll know your power." --Raining Deer BCV is a thougtful, sometimes humorous but candid account of my personal journey with breast cancer. It addresses what anyone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer initially thinks, which is one of three things: 1. “Oh my God!” 2. “Am I going to die?” 3. “How am I going to tell my loved ones?” In BCV – Rites Of Passage For Breast Cancer Victors, I give you a roadmap for moving from breast cancer "victim" to victor by celebrating the divine nature of healing. My self-affirming rituals will help you learn to walk in your power, thus becoming more than a survivor but a victor over breast cancer by invoking divine healing principles that are deeply rooted in traditional spiritual practices. In BCV I take you through these steps: · Finding out you have breast cancer · Exploring medical and alternative treatments · Having the treatment of your choosing · Regaining clarity and your sense of purpose through the divine healing principles of Prayer, Praise and Power. Once you walk this journey with me, you'll understand the purpose for this book. --Raining Deer "Raining Deer's rituals provide rites of passage into divinity." --Wallis Tinnie, Ph.D.
