The 25 witnesses represented many professional associations and educational institutions including: Deborah M. Bash for the American College of Nurse-Midwives; Marvyn M. Dymally, California Representative to Congress; Leopold G. Selker, American Society of Allied Health Professions; Andrea Morales, a fourth year medical student at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine; Robert R. Graham, of the American Academy of Family Physicians; and statements from organizations including the American Academy of Pediatrics; Ambulatory Pediatric Association, American College of Physicians Society of General Internal Medicine and Association of Professors of Medicine.
