Southern Presbyterians have never been noted for their favorable _response to coercive measures, and they are not likely to warm up to this new one. We have just voted upon the question Of Church Union, and at least one of the parties to the debate desires to forget the unpleasantness still fresh in the minds of the Church, and get down to business.
