(II Corinthians 3:18, NIV) Each chapter will begin with an Introduction (I) followed by Discovery (D), Explanation (E), and Application (A) sections. Each chapter can be worked through as a unit or in sequence as a whole with a variety of process options including individual, small group, and various course applications. The Spirit-Empowered Leader Workbook is designed as a stand-alone or a companion to other workbooks in The Leadership Development Series. Other workbooks in this series include The Bible-Centered Leader Workbook; The Discipleship and Mentoring Workbook; and a "best of" or introductory workbook for younger emerging leaders entitled The Discipleship and Leadership Workbook. Take your time and prayerfully and carefully read, study, discuss, apply, and evaluate your progress. Remember that becoming a spirit-empowered leader is not an objective as much as it is a process or lifestyle. It is not something we get, but something we become over time. Over the years we will be transformed by God and empowered to "be" about the Father's business (Luke 2:49).
