The triple-number is essentially a digital model based on the three-bit binary, and the operation types of the factors are different. The triple-number is not only a simple binary model, but also has the reasoning function of formal logic. In theory, it is feasible to use this digital model to study some scientific problems that have isomorphic properties in formal logic. Some famous mathematical conjectures are discussed with triple-number, such as ABC Conjecture, Goldbach Conjecture, Twin Prime Conjecture, Catalan Conjecture, 3n+1 Conjecture, Fermat's Theorem, Euler Conjecture, Poincaré Conjecture, Riemann Conjecture, Quantum Properties of Mathematics and Russell Paradox, Perfect Cube, BSD Conjecture, Hodge Conjecture, Hualin Conjecture, Diophantine Equation, NP Complete Problem, Ringer Conjecture and Four-Color Theorem. The relationship between triple-number and probability, fuzzy mathematics, limit, trigonometric function, binomial theorem, Taylor formula, high-order differential, definite integral, multiple integral, Dirichlet function, order and tensor of magic group is discussed. By triple-number, quaternions, octal numbers, p-numbers, and vectors are also discussed. The triplet product digital chain can characterize infinity and indefinitely small. Triple-number is used to find the mathematical and physical constants in the universe. The coding rules of 64 genetic codes are discussed, and the concept of DNA geometry is proposed by triple-number. The book supposes that the great unified force of the four forces in the universe is Planck force, which is transmitted by Planck force. By the digital model of Planck force transferring velocity, the book deals with the universe's singularity, space-time, space-time quantum, temperature, information entropy, black hole, mass, energy, dark matter, dark energy, consciousness, anti-speed, anti-space-time, virtual space-time, virtual mass, virtual energy, negative mass, negative energy, negative temperature, antimatter and elements. The author predicts that there should be 262 elements in the complete periodic table, and theoretically the atomic weight of each element can be obtained.

This comprehensive and well-organised text, now in its Fourth Edition, explains, with great clarity and precision, the labour and industrial laws such as the Industrial Disputes Act, the Factories Act, and the Contract Labour Act. While giving a broad perspective of the subject, the text brings out the objectives behind the enactment of every legislation, discusses the relevant case laws and shows how the Constitution is related to labour laws. Formulas for the calculation of compensation for retrenchment, death, permanent disablement are also provided. Legal jargon has been completely avoided so that anyone who is not expert in this particular subject can also understand these laws with ease. The book is primarily meant for the undergraduate and postgraduate students of law and management as well as for the postgraduate students of commerce/personnel management and industrial relations. Besides, students pursuing professional courses such as Company Secretaryship (CS) and ICWA would also find the book very useful. NEW TO THE FOURTH EDITION • Incorporates amendments made in the Payment of Wages Act; the Payment of Gratuity Act; and recent judgement of the Supreme Court on PF, Gratuity, the Industrial Disputes Act, and the Factories Act. • Introduces a new chapter on Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Working Women. TARGET AUDIENCE • LLB, LLM • BBA, MBA • CS, ICWA • MCom • MPM & IR

Energy in the 21st Century is a valuable source of information for students, decision makers, opinion leaders, and the general public. Oil and natural gas price volatility continue to affect both the supply and demand for energy. Advances in other technologies, such as nuclear, wind, solar, and tidal technology, are altering the comparative economics of competing energy sources. New government policies are changing the landscape of the global energy marketplace. From our reliance on fossil fuels to the quest for new sources of energy, Energy in the 21st Century provides a fact-based analysis of the most prominent energy issues of our time. The fourth edition updates data and includes more discussion of recent advances. Some of the highlights of the fourth edition are expanded discussion of climate change and anthropogenic climate change; the 2015 COP21 Paris Agreement on Climate Change; nuclear fusion reactor prototypes (tokomak ITER and stellarator W7-X); advances in solar thermal and solar photovoltaic power plants, space based solar power, transparent photovoltaic cells, and hybrid solar wind technology; tidal and wave energy converters; oil from algae; the EU Supergrid; the Goldilocks Policy for energy transition and the Grand Energy Bargain. Energy in the 21st Century has been used as the text for the general college student population, as well as energy overview for MBA students. Pedagogical material includes learning objectives at the beginning of each chapter, end of chapter activities, a comprehensive index, a glossary, and an Appendix to help with converting units. Points to Ponder are provided throughout the text and are designed to encourage the reader to consider material from different perspectives. Despite its significant influence on international law, international relations, natural law and political thought in general, Grotius's Law of War and Peace has been virtually unavailable for many decades. Stephen Neff's edited and annotated version of the text rectifies this situation. Containing the substantive portion of the classic text, but shorn of extraneous material, this edited and annotated edition of one of the classic works of Western legal and political thought is intended for students and teachers in four primary areas: history of international law, history of political thought, history of international relations and history of philosophy.
