PARABLE OF TRANSFORMATION: Much has been written regarding Luke Chapter 15 and there's been a great debate regarding which theme(s) should be considered and which one(s) ignored; however, this book will take a different approach by viewing it as a parable of transformation. The wilderness (or desert) is the place where transformations occur. As you read through the Bible, you'll see that God had many of the heroes of the faith participate in their own wilderness adventures, for example: Moses and the Israelites, David, Elijah, John the Baptist and even Jesus. They were all transformed by their desert experiences. The desert is God's preferred learning laboratory for believers. All believers will likely spend some time in the wilderness, in God's "boot camp." Some will enroll multiple times. But, the bottom line is this: God is still in control and he has a plan to conform you to his image (Rom. 12:2) so that he can have greater fellowship with you. God is sovereign even when you're in the midst of a wilderness experience and feeling scared, confused or overwhelmed. The wilderness may seem like it's the "wrong" path, that you've gotten lost or strayed from God, but he can redeem even the most crooked path and use all of your experiences along the way for good (Rom. 8:28).In the end, the "right" path ultimately brings you closer to God whereas the wrong path ultimately takes you further away from him. You can't really tell until you get to the end of the path. People in your life may be critical of your life choices, but in reality, they may not be seeing God's hand at work in your life, invisibly, behind the scenes. Consequently, you need to be true to yourself and trust God to bring you home, and he will!

Can You Spot Today's Doctrines of Devils? Are you confused about salvation? Do you NOT know what you need to do to make heaven? Jesus said, "If you want to obtain eternal life, keep the commandments" (Matthew 19:17). Then to clarify which commandments, he began listing each of the 10 commandments. So is this true? But preachers today tell us if we just believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins, we'll go to heaven. How does that make sense with Christ's words above? And why did Paul write "It's not of works lest you should boast" (Ephesians 2:9) to the Jewish religious leaders of his day? Does this mean we don't have to live by the commandments? And why did Paul say "eternal life is a free gift of God" (Romans 6:23)? But then he says, "For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the DOERS of the LAW shall be justified" (Romans 2:13). It's so confusing! Honestly, what is the REAL truth of salvation? What MUST WE REALLY DO to obtain eternal life? In the book "The Salvation Equation" Gabriel Ansley Erb answers these questions very clearly through a simple equation. The equation was born out of God's salvation message behind the Israelite's story of bondage in Egypt, deliverance through Moses, and wilderness journey to a Promise Land, which is the anointed message Gabriel received from God December 8, 2007. If you're confused about salvation, this is the book for you. It will clear up all your questions! And afterwards, you will be able to spot Satan's doctrines of devils in today's church world. Receiving eternal life is the most important goal of our lives. Don't allow yourself to be deceived on this matter. Get Gabriel's book today and forever know the truth! What You Will Learn In The Book The real meaning of the word repentance What God's grace did for all mankind The only evidence that proves our faith The real reason Paul wrote "It's not of works" The truth behind "the free gift of eternal life" What it really means to "believe in Jesus" The 10 Commandments are the 10 LOVE Commandments All Christ's teachings were based on keeping the 10LC Where forgiveness, giving and contentment fit into the 10LC All sin is based on disobedience to the 10LC What People Are Saying About the Book I've been confused by various messages circulated by pastors that seemed to contradict the words of Jesus; messages such as "once saved, always saved", "saved by faith alone", "your past, present and future sins are already forgiven", "you don't have to do anything since Jesus nailed all your sins on the cross for you", "the 10 commandments = legalism"! I even heard that "works" is an insult to God's Grace! The Salvation Equation explains the difference between our part and God's part perfectly! The writings of Paul finally make sense! Julie I couldn't stop reading The Salvation Equation. I just can't get over how huge the wrong gospel is that is out there. Daniel Why were these simple truths so hard to come by? As I write these words I would say forgiveness is the most powerful spiritual tool one can take with them on their life journey. While in Maryland ministering at my very first out of state meeting is where God through the Holy Spirit taught me about forgiveness. When one refuses to forgive and allows un-forgiveness to reign in their heart it will literally paralyze them from moving into the true blessings God has for them. Life becomes more tainted one might say. In Matthew 9:2 we see Jesus healing a man from palsy (paralyze) the first thing he says to him was take up thy bed and walk thy sins have been forgiven. Jesus knew the cause of his crippling state, and forgiveness was the answer. When speaking to the people there he said, "what's easier to forgive him or say take up thy bed and walk?" He was stagnated and could not move because of unforgiveness and lay there without hope. Whatever the sin was it was not the problem it did its job. That was to stop him from moving forward in life. His life had altered its course he had become stuck. The life force of his spirit had stop until Jesus the life giver came. I can remember the day that Jesus came into my life giving me mercy here I stood a sinner and now my sins have been forgiven or pardon. There is a song that said, "When I could not reach mercy, mercy came running to me" Jesus has come to us. Glory! So just as you have been forgiven you too must forgive all those in your past that has hurt, disappointed you causing you to become stagnated in your life. Jesus the giver of life is here!

No study of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ is complete without an understanding of the parables he taught. Most books that cover parables generally cover the better-known ones. They avoid the difficult, challenging, and obscure. Art Zacher and Doug Peterson break that tradition in this book, covering dozens of the parables spoken by Jesus. When Jesus shared these parables with individuals and groups, He challenged them to live a godly life—and that challenge is still relevant today. Each parable is set in its historic setting, with previous and following events noted. The authors reveal where Jesus spoke each parable, who His audience was, and what each one means. Each parable is classified with other parables on the same topic for easy reference. Get detailed insights on what Jewish people were thinking as they waited for their Messiah along with insights on the practical applications of Jesus’ teachings today with the lessons in Keys to the Kingdom.
