Now, he has a brand-new opportunity - the chance to play for the famous British and Irish Lions as they tour South Africa. But before he can get on the plane, he must overcome the injury that threatens to end his career, and make the difficult choice between rugby and friendship. Gordon has to help Clive Woodward pull off a series win against South Africa and their fearsome forwards - the notorious Bomb Squad. The lion will roar! History is divided by great historical events. Recorded history is divided by the coming of Christ. Wars, depressions, and worldwide pandemics have defined history. The events of the last sixteen months have doubtlessly shaped our generation and the next. Nothing that has happened in history, aside from the coming of Christ, has shaped history like the events to come. The Lion's Roar will bring history to its inevitable conclusion. The Prophet Joel's, among others, prophecies of the Lion's Roar: The Lord will roar from Zion. and thunder from Jerusalem; the earth and the heavens will tremble. But the Lord will be a refuge for his people. (Joel 3:16) This book will provide guidance about the Lion's Roar. This book is unique in that the story is told from the perspective of a grandfather telling his grandson about the coming roar. Following that section, you will be able to explore this subject through a detailed study of Scripture. Finally, you will be challenged to expect and respond to the Lion's Roar.

The Lion's Roar of Queen Srimala, or Sri-mala-sutra, became the Mahayana scripture preeminent for teaching that all sentient beings have the potentiality of Buddhahood. It was an inspiration for both the Lankavatara-sutra and the Chinese classic Awakening of Faith. The translators present evidence that it was composed in the Andhra region of South India in the third century A.D. Thereafter it had remarkable success in China, and through Korea entered into the beginnings of Buddhism in Japan, where it has been important up to the present time. This, the first complete rendering of the scripture into a western language, utilizes all the known Sanskrit fragments, the Tibetan, the two Chinese versions and the Japanese renditions, Chinese and japanese commentaries, and various studies in japanese. Contents Foreword, Preface, Translator's Note, Introduction, I. Sri-Mala as a Text, II. Classification of Persons, III. Doctrine of Sri-Mala, Prologue, 1. Eliminating all Doubts, 2. Deciding the Cause, 3. Clarifying the Final Meaning, 4. Entering the one vehicle path, Epilogue, Appendix I. The Chinese Section Titles of Sri-Mala and Appendix II. Works Cited in Chi-tsang's Commentary, Glossary, Bibliography, Index.
