Although the author issued in 1910 an entirely new book on the same - "The Grand Canyon of Arizona" - there is still a steady and constant demand for this larger and earlier work. It has been deemed appropriate, however, before issuing a new edition, that part of one chapter should be entirely rewritten, and an appendix added, which will contain much new and important information. A new map has also been provided which the tourist or general reader will find of material help.
