Some of the most interesting and debated entities in the Bible are the Sons of GOD in the sixth chapter of the book of Genesis. I certainly agree they are interesting and the subject of much debate, but I believe they are more than that. I believe who and what they are can have a great effect upon one's understanding of the rest of the Bible. I understand that who and what these entities are is not a salvation issue, but it is an extremely important one. The devil is the great deceiver (John 8:44). It is his goal to deceive every man, woman and child he can. I believe having the incorrect understanding of these Sons of GOD can make people vulnerable to one of his greatest deceptions. That is why I wrote this book. As I said, this is a hotly debated subject, but I do not think the Bible is unclear about their identity. The issue is... Well, you'll need to read the book for that. Angels, Spirits, principalities, powers, gods, Satanthese, along with all other spiritual realities, are the unmentionables of our culture. The dominant materialistic worldview has absolutely no place for them. But materialism itself is terminally ill, and, let us hope, in process of replacement by a worldview capable of honoring the lasting values of modern science without succumbing to reductionism. Therefore, we find ourselves returning to the ancient traditions, searching for wisdom wherever it may be found. We do not capitulate to the past and its superstitions, but bring all the gifts our race has acquired along the way as aids in recovering the lost language of our souls. In Naming the Powers I developed the thesis that the New Testament's principalities and powers is a generic category referring to the determining forces of physical, psychic, and social existence. In the present volume we will be focusing on just seven of the Powers mentioned in Scripture. Their selection out of all the others dealt with in Naming the Powers is partly arbitrary: they happen to be ones about which I felt I had something to say. But they are also representative, and open the way to comprehending the rest. They are: Satan, demons, angels of churches, angels of nations, gods, elements, and angels of nature.

Steven J. Cole refers to the Apostle Paul's spiritual experience as described in Romans 7:14-20 (KJV) as the merry-go-round of sin. It is an experience that I believe every child of God is subject to as a result of the evil in our world. The crust of it is this: "For the good that I would do I do not: but the evil I would not do, that I do" (Romans 7:19). Without question, we want to get off this merry-go-round of sin, but that is not an easy task, for we are held there by an unseen master-a masked evil whose presence has gripped the whole of our society and the world and placed in it a mind-set that is deprived of understanding, judgment, and perception. Paul, through spiritual discernment, exposed this evil in Ephesians 6:12. He said, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness in this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." He unmasked the evil in our world, revealing that we are all affected by its presence. Christ has called each of us to recognize this masked evil and expose it to the world that we have been charged to impact positively for him.

Does the term "Gentiles" refer to all non Jews or is that just the lie we've been sold to cover up the truth? Who were the Gentiles and where are they now? What role do they play in Bible prophecy and where are we at on the prophetic countdown clock? Believe it or not, the Bible tells us exactly who the Gentiles are, where they are, and what's about to happen when their time is up... and unfortunately it is too often ignored. We're about to get into some DEEP and CONTROVERSIAL, but pure Biblical truth, in this eye opening study. There were two Bible verses that really inspired me to look into who the Gentiles are, according the Bible. I've heard many people teach on these verses, and I couldn't shake the feeling that the in-formation was just being repeated, but not actually researched (myself included). Here are the verses: Verse 1 "And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled." - Luke 21:24 Verse 2 "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in." - Romans 11:25 In verse 1, we see that Jerusalem will be trodden down by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles is fulfilled or completed. This is what I get from the context of verse 1. But was the times of the Gentiles really fulfilled in 1967 during the Six Days War, or are we still looking at the Gentile occupation of Jerusalem? In verse 2 we see that the partial blindness of Israel is only temporary, and will be lifted after the fullness of the Gentiles is come in. What does that really mean, and what specifically would the blindness of Israel encompass? Whatever the answers to these questions are, they do seem to be connected. In Luke, Christ connects the fulfillment of the time of the Gentiles to the end of the age. That leads us to the first big question: Has the time of the Gentiles been fulfilled? Break out your pens, papers, styluses, etc, and let's get down to some good ol' intense Bible study. In order to answer all of the above questions, we first need to figure out who the Gentiles are.

We must put His living seed word, His written word, in our hearts and let it germinate growing into His DEVINE IMAGE AS AN OVERCOMER OF ALL SIN "IF" we will HOLD OUT PATIENTLY TO THE END of our total deliverance experientially. This overcoming life can only come about through fellowshipping with the Most High God as He pours out His wisdom into our being so in the end, He can fill us with His glory as He did both tabernacles of Moses and Solomon when they were completed. This is all in His timing as He moves in and through us as we move toward Him in Spirit and in Truth.
