May be assigned as a probable date; indeed the general resemblance in plot style and construction of this play to the Helena makes it likely that the two were produced about the same time 2. In order Of events the Tauric Iphigenia follows the Ipbigenidin Aalz'x at a distance of about twenty years; but there is no close connexion between the two dramas, the latter of which was probably composed in 406, but not exhibited until after its author's death.
